This shit just makes me feel so good! So glad to reconnect here. I found this album (CD) in a used pile at a CD shop. that guitar, that humor, it kicked my ass. Morris Day's name randomly popped into my mind a few minutes ago and I have no idea why. It was remembering (again randomly.?), "Gimme a little bit o' that salt..." The line is something that has always stuck with me for its professional silliness, instantly endearing when I first heard it. And for a while now I couldn't remember the artists name. But today before the usual intrusive thought got a voice-- as if cued and waiting-- the monologue said "Morris Day."

One of the best live performances in music history. The audience was on fire. I attended 3 Prince concerts, watched hundreds of videos and Prince can still surprise me and blow my mind. Prince 4ever!

I was one of the lucky ones that night. It started late, like around midnight and ended at almost 4 am. I don’t have words to express how unique and phenomenal it was and what we experienced during those 4 hours. We were in transe, extatic. Fun fact, Prince was not initially scheduled those two nights. He called the Metropolis and said he’d be there on June 24 and 25 and that he would play two concerts (maybe a week before). The Metropolis then cancelled the shows initially scheduled to have Prince play instead.

My first and only Prince concert. Was supposed to go with this girl, she was only 16 (I was 19) her parents said 'no' so I went with my homie. Pure Riduculousness, this sounds better than it did there very boomy and echoey.
