I was always told by my parents that as you age, that is once you hit 30, your body starts falling apart and health goes bad, blah, blah, blah. I’ve never accepted that 🐴💩 and now I’ll be 50 this year, I bike to work and go on 60 to 70 miles out of town rides regularly, work on my strength training, and I think the most important thing is to steer clear of processed and packaged foods. Eating clean keeps you running better. Last time I graduated from a university (the third time) I was 46. Totally do-able. I couldn’t imagine retiring and just sitting around. Too much to experience.

Menopause zaps the life out of so many women. It is psychologically and physically devastating. Added to that, turning 60 has definitely made finding a job so much more difficult.

Hi Tiffany. I believe i commented on your channel a couple of weeks ago; but plz take this with a grain of salt: i really cant stand self improvement. I have had horrendous experiences with people that im close with trying to give me unsolicited advice and lecturing me about my sentiment. And it is just so upsetting to me. However i always try to do right by my folks and friends ive known since childhood (even when we fight and disagree with eachother). And Tiffany, if it sounds like im really on a bit of a rampage, plz dont take it the wrong way because i do want to better myself...however im not going to let people push me around either. I also dont know what it is about Canadian women; but i do get along better with them than i do with American women ... (and im an American guy) ... but its not to say i hate women or anybody of my nationality ... i just need to have my personal space and feel out feelings in ways that i don't want to, but sometimes have to - especially as somebody who's been prone to nervous breakdowns and panic attacks in the past. Ive also had a tendency to be super self loathing and really hard on myself. Plus, with it being fathers day wknd, im really missing my father (may he RiP 🙏) and im sure wherever he's at, he's watching from above to make sure im ok 😢

"It's weird to discover you're the same age as old people." Other than the options changing constantly, there is no reason why life should get less interesting with age. And there have never been any guarantees either way anyway, so why ponder on it? Some options are missed for ever, but it is like that for everyone. You can't enjoy an early start and sleepin' in simultaneously. Choosing is an essential part of being chosen.

Give me bloody strength! I've just had NINE traumatic situations/life challenges hit me and nothing you advised would have helped. What you SHOULD be telling people to do is the ONLY THING THAT WORKS which is to say - tackle ONE PROBLEM AT A TIME. You can't possible tackle multiple problems simultaneously so just TACKLE ONE and let the others wait, then when you have the strength/mental capacity to deal with the next trauma on the list, get onto it. That's the truth from someone who's lived it.

Very inspiring. As a former hip-hop recording artist who also worked in the entertainment industry I recall moments sharing my music with some peers at a prestigious company i worked for. Some would take a liking to the uniqueness of my wacky sound, playful recording style & visuals. I'd ending up meeting face to face with some gatekeepers where they'd pop the question, "how old are you?" My response over the years, "28-29-30" where i'd get hit with "oh you look so young though" or "i thought you were younger than that!". Once my age was revealed (to those older than me might I add) the convos. shifted. One peer told me "man i love what youre doing but you should definitely go the indy route because you're older & more experienced & the people who i can introduce you to are going to want your publishing & i'm in sure you aren't interested in that". It dawned on me.. the industry thrives off taking advantage of younger, naive, limited life experienced artists. I started chopping off 3 years just to get on people's radar. I got so jaded to where I focused my efforts elsewhere. In hindsight they were wrong as the internet democratized the whole industry. Age became a number. 2Chains as a hip-hop artist was 36 when he became a prominent figure. Charles Bradley signed his very first recording deal in his 60s after being a diamond in the rough for over 30 years. But to think of all the people who gave up on their recording dreams too early because they felt they were too old (me being one) when in fact plenty get better with time..its so unfortunate. It's a premature death. I've been trying to my encourage 40+ peers with a high skill set to get back to it as their experiences now would be highly valuable to the genre at large.
