Thank you for the video. I just discovered this channel and found this video to be helpful. I've subscribed! I'm optimistic, but I know it will be challenging to make a career pivot. My biggest concern is time - I'm worried about being overlooked and not getting an interview. I don't want to get stuck and settle. I'm still learning about the data so I can plan and prepare for it when I'm ready.

Hi Christine Thank you for sharing the volunteer websites. I’ve been having a hard time starting on projects with no direction or objective. I’ve learned the basic skills of SQL and Tableau but there’s a grey area implementing the skills I’ve gained. Having a volunteer project to work on is a great motivation and provides great hands on experience!

Hi Christine, Great video. I learned a lot of these lessons the hard way trying to find my way into data roles and trying to compete with more educated and experienced professionals. I like that you made it very clear that it is not a one step journey to change careers. There's a lot of risk involved and employers want to feel confident that they are taking their best option. Since it takes time to become technically proficient (a goal post that seems to never stop moving) and likely several steps to eventually become Director of Finance and Data , how do you recommend aspiring analysts to use their time wisely? What daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly habits should aspiring analysts develop to become a leader in tech innovation and business strategy?
