Is it just me? The beginning audio sounds like dogs,wrestling in the room. Now at 13 minutes in it sounds like some kind of radio interference? I'm trying to listen can the audio be cleaned up?

Okay folks, I am experiencing and issue and cannot find an answer anywhere. After a fresh installation of Onion production on Proxmox I cannot download the Windows Elastic Agent and just get a Windows download error saying network unavailable. I’ve searched everywhere for an answer any ideas?

Derrick - thanks for an interesting episode. I would, however, express a little concern with some of your assessment regarding GPS on phones and the related impact of it. Maybe it is just the way I am interpreting what you said, but it sounded incorrect to me. How I understand it to actually work is below. Can someone track you with only GPS on your typical phone - no; not through the GPS system and not without compromising the phone in some other way and accessing applications onboard that might have that data. GPS systems do not track phones. Triangulation is done exclusively through the terrestrial RF signal by the cellular carrier solution and its towers or building cells. Carriers use the data for performance loading and tuning; or provide data for LEOs under warrant. GPS Satellites send signals to cellular phones, that only have receivers in them. They do not have satellite radio transmitters and do not interact back with the GPS satellites or another solution with GPS signals, which would be necessary to be tracked by them. The IOS or Android OS on the phone uses the GPS signal to provide a real-time location information register. There is not any real history unless some application stores it. The OS generally does not, and uses the current data read only, which overwrote the last reading in the same register. However, there are some potentially real risks with it. Fitness tracker applications, for example, use the GPS receiver in real-time to measure distance and rate moved over time, and can store the data for long periods or upload the information to a cloud portal associated with the application, over WIFI or cellular. If a person's cloud account is compromised, then the stored data can be used to locate where they have been, while using that application. Can LEOs, through a warrant, receive the current GPS data register information from a phone ping through the carrier's RF signal? - I don't know what they actually get now. Can malicious code do this - potentially. The position location register data is generally available to all applications. It would still be another app sending the data out WIFI/cellular. Does Google know where your phone, and you, have been while using Android Auto or Google Maps in the car or on the trail - absolutely. It is done through GPS position updates read into the map application, uploaded to the cloud over WIFI or cellular, as you navigate. Part of the AUP. They even send you monthly reports if you want them to. You can disable this as well, but your experience is limited. Car manufacturers, or services like OnStar, likely also have similar data - provided by on-board applications reading GPS information registers and sending it to cloud services as you go, over WIFI or cellular. Family locator applications, like Life360 or Family Orbit would do the same thing. As long as those accounts are secure the data would be protected.
