You lost me as soon as you bagged SKOOL'S BURNIN and HEAD FIRST. You redeemed yourself by praising THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT. For the record, HIGH N' MIGHTY is my favourite UH album. You gave High N' Mighty a 10 rating but had it at number 9. Seriously cannot understand how you can put anything before it with the exception of DW and MB. Notwithstanding, many thanks for the video and your thoughts.

Any Heep album with Ken Hensley is good. The remaining albums are sheer rubbish.

I just re listened to Equator. I honestly don’t know what’s so bad about it. They definitely have worse albums.

Thanks for that. As a fan of their in the 1970's I used to play many of their albums in my car. But like all British rock bands of the 70's their first 4 or 5 albums are the best - the rest are really just fillers. I could not tell you any of the songs from the 80's oinwards. But yes Mick Box is a legend and Ken Hensley was so talented

The Kinks were, still are my favorite band. Saw them for the first time at the Aquarius (Orpheum) Theatre in Boston, Ma in '71 or '72. I have all their original lp's in vinyl and I tell you trying to find "Something Else" and "Village Green" in the U.S. at the time of their release was near impossible. By '67 you never heard them on AM radio due to the ban and their singles and lp's were just so hard to find. Especially Village Green. I was 15 years old in '68 and next to no one was listening to the Kinks. They were like a secret, a personal gift. My favorites are Face to Face '66, Village Green '68, Arthur '69 and Lola vs Powerman '70. They were on a roll, great under appreciated lp's. GSTK.

I love High and Mighty too. Great songs. Don’t like “Can’t keep a good band Down”, it the rest of the album is an A+. Wetton is great on this one.

Wonderworld has grown on me. There are 4 or 5 great tracks. Wonderworld, The Easy Road, Suicidal Man, So Tired and perhaps Something or Nothing. The Easy Road is one of Heep’s best ballads period. Check it out if you haven’t heard it. Great writing and singing.

Firefly, so amazing you mention Motorhead, because as soon as I started listening to it it sounded like Hawkwind who Lemmy of Motorhead started with. So many connections.
