Alright, I do have to point out a big error in your dark world criticism…. You don’t need to do dungeon 2 after dungeon 1. In the several dozen times I’ve played the game, I have never done dungeon 2 after dungeon 1, I always hit dungeon 4 so I can get my sword upgraded. You don’t need the hook shot or fire rod to do dungeon 4 at all.

The original legend of zelda game is probably the best game for me. Its greay they finally went back to it in breath of the wild and tears.

Hey wait, I'm an older Zelda fan (my first game) and I loved skyward sword ate first but now I just like it. I don't hate it so check your facts octo....nah I can't stay mad at ya, your octorok makes me laugh. Now BOTW and TOTK are by far my newest faves based on the new innovations. However my favorite Zelda game is part 1....why because you can relive a part of the past and not have to relive the past while you do. Meaning you needed atleast a summer vacation or a half a school year to beat part one, now I can do it in 45 minutes tops. It's contradictory to say that Korok seeds are bad because you're not meant to collect them all, yet praise seashells because you don't need each of them for the grand prize. Also how is Catfish's Maw not the worst dungeon? The backtracking hunt for the skeleton is nothing more than just time wasting guesswork. The knight chess piece moves little like in chess. Three spaces forward, then one to the side. The Angler tile puzzle was changed in the Switch version (or maybe Dx?), making it impossible to do in the right order without flippers (the 2nd tile is surrounded by water). You have some cool points but I'm not gonna bother with 2 hour videos sorry :D

Frieren is a fantasy storytelling masterpiece that transcends anime. Is it the best anime ever? Probably. But even if it somehow isn't, it still deserves to be ranked alongside Lord of the Rings.

Ugh, well, here we are. Hello, I'm, maybe, that one person in an entire world, who got into anime culture through No Game No Life because of my friend's suggestion. Yep. And from that point to this day I'm still a fucking enormous fan of NGNL, who still waits for season two. And I have some good reasons for that kind of stupidity. First of all - of course I have some claims to said takes in this video. Some of them just soften the critique, some just straight refute to those said by the author, but I won't elaborate. Not because I'm cluttering the air, but because, firstly, it'll be a lot of talk, and secondly it doesn't make any sense, because in a core I absolutely agree with the video. If someone still wants to hear what I can say - well, just write under this comment, I always love to talk about this series. No Game No Life has a lot of interesting ideas, that Kamiya tried and tries to this day to state in his work, but... This was his first work, and he made a lot of mistakes, biggest of which is making protagonist a fucking Mary Sue, because surely doing something else is way harder, and this lil' Brazilian guy pays for this till this day. Well, at some point it in some way worked for several volumes. Maybe more. But... He fucking understood, that something's wrong, only almost decade after starting this series, because only then he... Sorry for spoilers, if someone is concerned, made Sora and Shiro FUCKING LOSE to FUCKING REAL THREAT, and made this lose finally painful. Until that moment an entire volumes just used the remaining fuse from previous volumes, such as the first three, which felt freshly, and a fuse from, surprise-surprise, volume 6! What a coincidence! And secondly, I'm a degenerate NGNL fan with 6 years of experience not because of the original series. Well, I still somewhat love Sora and Shiro, but not as much as I love volume 6, No Game No Life Zero and Riku and Schwi. Fuck, I'm from that part of Russia/Ukraine, that you know under name Donbass, or Donetsk, if being certain, and surely this story about war, sheer desire for peace and ultimate sacrifice hit me back then like a truck. I watched the movie at first, and because of a poor Russian translation I ain't understand everything, but oh my god, what a big of a hole volume 6 made in my heart, I can't describe. From the bottom of said heart, thank you for appreciating this story almost as high as I appreciated it myself. If Kamiya ain't wrote this story, maybe I've forgotten about NGNL already, but... Well, you know. It's really a shame that the story of Riku, Schwi, and how they've been able to finish an endless war, was so underestimated by the mass community. I totally agree that it deserved more prizes than Boss Baby, for fuck sake. Also a small remark - in Russian writing of volumes is incredible - I can tell it as someone who writes stories myself. I've read volumes in English too, ofc, so I can compare those, too. Just want to give credit to our translators - they're fucking insane.

It was the similar ending as TP game though. The mirror is forever broken, so the path that links the two worlds is forever gone. Link and Midna went separate ways. The two main differences are: 1) As shown in the thumbnail, Midna kissed Link, but as a farewell gift (Link wanted to come join her in the Twilight Realm, but she refused, as Link is needed in the Light Realm). 2) In the game, Midna sort of surprise-goodbyed everyone. But in the manga, the mirror was shattered with all 3 (Link, Midna, Zelda) consenting, and there was no surprise. All 3 didn't want to, but they all intellectually agreed that it was the best course for both worlds.

"the incoherent story line these games supposedly share" The hell they do. They're 20 some odd games spread over a period of 40 years. There is no shared story, as how could there be. Ganon is killed in every damn game pal. Do the math.

21:08 im not sure what it is, but everytime someone says this about someone who literally isn’t human in the story i cant help but be a bit confused. To me it feels a bit misguided and it’s saying that you have to act like another species even tho the character aren’t a human and still feel the feelings.

You could have easily put in Zelda and link mud wrestling or the old lady from Zelda 1 running a pharmacy in a town. Maybe even had talking NPCs in palaces. Better yet shadow link butt chug

The manga has so much more ship tease than the game ever had. Link kissing Imp Midna on the cheek before going off to fight Ganondorf was really cute.
