Subb3d for 5his journey and im loving it so far but i have a request... If you have not already watched it please do a reaction to The Last kingdom, 5 great seasons topped off with a movie to finish the story. It is set during the era of King Alfred the Great and his dream of uniting all 5he kingdoms to form England.We follow a man who is saxon but was raised as a Viking as he follows his destiny through many battles and adventures.

Best episode in 15 years. My only slight issue was the Doctor mentioning the politician at the beginning who then just happened to be a major figure in the story felt a bit forced. I think I'd give it 10/10 even so because it was a very minor niggle

I dont know about the woman's hand gestures and why exactly 73 yards, but i do have other theories. Where did the doctor go: he was the one who broke the fairy circle, so maybe his disappearance was a type of punishment. And why didnt Ruby disappear? She was the one who took the scroll about Mad Jack and read it, so taking down the PM had become her mission alone, although she didnt know it yet. Why did the woman make everyone hate Ruby: I feel like it was a defence mechanism, coz nothing should hamper Ruby's mission of dethroning the PM. If Unit, for example, successfully intervened and captured the woman, Ruby would have never been able to deal with the PM. So, its like: you try to approach her or talk to her, then you are repelled by her and driven away from Ruby, so that Ruby's mission can be completed without impediments or distractions. Nobody tried to approach the woman after Ruby dealt with the PM, so we don't know if this theory holds. Unfortunately the PM took advantage of Marti, and Ruby feels guilty coz she introduced them. This adds to his villany and why we are motivated to see him dethroned. So Marti is esctatic when the PM runs away and resigns. There is no loop or paradox. The episode occured in an alternate timeline, like Kate told Ruby. And in that timeline, Ruby stopped the PM from leading the "the world to the brink of nuclear war", to quote the Doctor. So there is no actual nuclear war. When the timeline is reset in the final scene, Ruby does not live a life where she will stop the PM, so it isnt a paradox. Her original timeline is restored when she dies in her deathbed and united with the old woman. In the final scene, the doctor again tells Ruby about the dangerous PM. It is a fixed event in time that cannot be changed. Going by the exact words of the Doctor, the PM will indeed come to power in 2046, but clearly doesn't do any catastrophic damage. He simply acquires the weapons for symbolism and leads the world to the "brink" of nuclear war. This entire episode was in an alternate timeline and trying to be all meta coz in this alternate timeline, Doctor Who does not have a title sequence.

30:10 She doesn't have all the resources that her ancestors had for training them and has her hands full as it is with all the politics. Even the dragon that most favors her is semi-tame at best and may or may not show up until she most needs him (take a guess). Also a cynical explanation is that even this big budget show had network pressure to control costs, and the dragon CGI was expensive, hence reserved for the bigger episodes.

I agree this was an amazing episode. Even if we didn’t get all the answers at the end the journey was so engaging it was worth it for me. Also it feels like a lot of reactors didn’t pick up on some of the details that make this episode great but you did so thanks for the great reaction.

8/10 i really enjoyed this one, my only complaint is i think they could have done more with her makeup to make her look 40 years old, think just giving her glasses was a little lazy. great reaction

Ice was turned into Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail (Joffrey's sword). The Daemon that was mentioned in the lore is Daemon Blackfyre (a bastard son of an older Targaryen king who legitimized all of his bastard children on his death bed). Daemon Waters was his original name but he changed his last name to Blackfyre, which was the name of his sword (the very same sword that belonged to Aegon The Conquerer). He created House Blackfyre and the Blackfyres went on to fight decades of wars to overthrow the Targaryen Dynasty. The last Blackfyre Rebellion, which occured a few years before the events of the show, was ended by Barristan Selmy, who killed the last of Daemon Blackfyre's descendants.

Everyone seems to think that Shae did what she did willingly in this season. She had no power and was surrounded by people who were willing to do horrible things to get what they wanted. She didn't have a choice. Not about speaking at the trial, and not about sleeping with Tywin.

For me, Tywin’s death was the most satisfying in the show. Yes,I agree that Tywin Lannister was a great character. His scenes are some of my favorites. Still, I am always pulling for Tyrion to use that bow. Daddy issues!😂😂
