JINTY was how my little sister used to spell Giant when she was very young 🙃Can't you tell that she was born into a steam enthusiasts family! lol 😆 Nice little DCC conversion. I am considering swapping to DCC as i build Pwll - Y - Ddraig but I can't decide the pros and cons balance. I like the idea of actually driving the loco, being able to double head, sound etc. But I was raised with DC, DCC is expensive (although the basics becoming cheaper i believe) and the cost for sound is horrendous. Which system do you use on your layout? Have you ever regretted going down that route and what advice do you have for someone thinking of starting a DCC railway? Thanks Mark and happy modelling

Hello, I used IPA for years and was constantly cleaning my track, then I started using electrical contact cleaner and Inox mx3 after the contact cleaner, honestly I was amazed, no where near as many issues. Just a suggestion but it has worked well for me thanks Elliot

Like a lot of videos "for beginners", this one assumes existing knowledge. For example, no explanation is given of what a bus wire does or what its purpose is. Nor is there any demonstration of the installation of bus wires. We go straight from the droppers being in place to the bus wire having been installed (1.36).

Haven't played around with model railways in 30 years but it's interesting to see these videos randomly on youtube. Whatever you craft, as long as you do it properly and have a passion for it, I'm all for it.

Reopening of closed Railway lines bring back Donegal trains as well as bordering counties would cut down on Pollution, Car Accidents, Road Deaths & Traffic Jams, 24 hour trains in summertime & St. Stephen's Day trains are needed.
