I’m no expert… Last time I heard something had solid lifters was in a 396 in an old Nova. What motor you have?
@danak963 it's a small block chevy with a Howards solid lifter cam.

@@NobodiesWrench thanks but , I look out the windshield and see at least 2 generations of mechanicals going on along the wall, but the 1000 to 1250rpms that keeps it running intrigues me on the analog tach… I WAS a truck and heavy equipment mechanic (retired), but there is something about your setup that interests me. @danak963 That's what my Dad did too for many years (heavy duty diesel technician). He taught me all I know, he's in his early 60s now. I'll have to do a full video on the entire setup sometime soon. But it is a fairly conventional small block chevy , 350 that is .040 over, some pretty old brodix heads, vic jr intake, and sniper efi. Thanks for all the comments! Have a good one!

@xm20k You are correct, it was redundant at the time... it was more my curiosity of how it would feel with four shocks on the rear. I have since ditched the stockers back there... no real noticeable difference in ride quality. Thanks for the question homie!

@danak963 it's a Howards 110832-06 circle track grind. I run 1.6 rockers on it, too.

@NobodiesWrench 4 doors or two. It is a matter of preference, and it indicates a sports car vs. a sedan. If the driver/owner makes it to their destination is really important. As is your personal taste. Your ride is great. Enjoy it. Take care of it. Get a muffler. Buckle up. Stay safe.

Ha ha! Naw it had seen its day! Had a huge trailer hitch welded on frame that looked like you could hook up a train car. Had an Audi tailgating me once so I down shifted and fed it to him puncturing his radiator! When I got to work I walked by the back and noticed I had a grill on back.
Had one! Best I remember it had a 352 in it . I was following my wife home one night and a 280z was tail gating her and I returned the favor tailgating him, when he passed her I stayed on his ass pushing him with bumper up to 100mph trying my best to crash him. Looking back it was stupid but some times you just lose it.

My ‘65 F100 moves out. I have a new 1986 300 Cubic Inch six. I put the efi exh mmflds on. Then two plane Jane mufflers. After each muffler is a short pipe that turns in front of the passenger rear wheel. It can breath with cyls 1,2,3 having their own exh port. Cyls 3,4,5 have their own exh port. Six in a row can really go.

Do you need to prime the hoses on the motive power bleeder? Mine have air and I am worried about getting air into the system.
@scottmcallister2031 I've never primed the hoses before on it. Just add fluid to the pump reservoir (also make sure your master is filled), pressurize the system by pumping, and open the bleeder on your caliper or wheel cylinder and observe the fluid until you don't have any more air bubbles. Hopefully that helps! Good luck!

Technically the first two passes aren't "losses" in the traditional sense, they're basically time trials to see how the car is running and make adjustments between passes. Then he's in a bracket race where the driver writes an estimated time(E/T) on the windshield. Both lanes have their selected E/T and whoever is closest, without jumping the start or going under time, wins that bracket race.
You should do a video explaining how a locker works and why it's beneficial in certain aspects. Also its a 2011 lol I ain't got the money for a 15 or newer

Definitely the smell of victory lol, ya can't beat it! This one doesn't have an oil bath. It's got a Demon and regular air cleaner nowadays.
