You truly get all of the beautiful vanilla/resin nuances that Babycat has to offer at a FRACTION of the price. So if you are ever unable to get your hands on a bottle of Babycat in the future, know that Rifaaqat would make for a great replacement. Rifaaqat is a 10/10 fragrance, in my opinion, and is one of the best affordable/budget-friendly scents I've come across. Don't hesitate to try it out for yourself.

I beleive the leather note is there but not listed. The initial spray of what smells like leather or suede is almost burnt but after 5 minutes it calms down. It is delicious and I love it!

Nope, not at all. What I get mostly is vanilla and incense, I truly love the scent.
I received the big 3.3 oz bottle 8/28/24, less than 2 weeks ago, and I have been spraying it like a mad woman! Just in the house with no where to go and spraying and spraying! 😭🤣

My honest opinion on this perfume I loved it at first omg it was great this is something a powerful person would wear however after having this a couple months and no it’s not expired it just smelled BAD AND AM SAD and a bit mad because I liked it so much and now it smells like dog food and it’s not even expired I think it’s that vanilla that ruined it plz don’t buy 💔
I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you. I've had mine for about a year now and I didn't have the same experience. Maybe the fragrance didn't mingle well with your body chemistry after maceration? Or does it just smell like "dog food" in the air? Just curious, have you tried the fragrance it's inspired by, Atomic Rose? If so, I'd love to know if that one was better for you. Thanks for sharing.

Did it get better? I think maybe it needed to macerate? Or it comes together when it really dries down. I smelled it on somebody else and it was amazing but when I tested it in a store on a strip, could barely smell it, was so faint like you describe here. I'm just about to buy it so wanted to know how you feel about it now?
It got better with time, let it sit for a month ot 2 and see if it grows on you. Hope this helps! ☺

@@deborahg427 I ordered directly from their official IG. At the time I purchased, if I remember correctly, they actually didn't have a website to order from. I believe the only place you could get a bottle was either through their official IG or at the store in France.

I have no idea what Babycat is supposed to smell like, but Rifaaqat is straight up leather with vanilla. It’s just so cozy and yummy to my nose. Frenetic Delicieuse is another Middle Eastern fragrance I like that almost has the same vibe.
Interesting, I don't just get leather and vanilla with Rifaaqat. I actually get more resin/vanilla, but yes definitely cozy vibes. Frenetic Delicieuse I haven't tried, but with be added to my long last of things to smell lol. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I also bought Cherry Punk room 1015 & it’s so-called leather also smells like rubber tires.

Yup, I've had this scent for almost a year now and I can say it's better with time. To me this fragrance is pretty unisex, maybe leaning a tiny bit feminine. Hope that helps! ☺

I would say so. In my opinion, this is unisex lending slightly feminine. The OG (Atomic Rose), is also unisex but leaning slightly deeper/masculine. Hope that helps. ☺

Has your Rifaaqat performance improved over time? After My first wearing (5 sprays), I’m experiencing 4-6 hours longevity with 1.5-2 hours of projection
I feel like it got a little better with time, but I wasn't disappointed with it's performance at all during my first few wears either. At the present moment I am literally down to my last, maybe, 10 ml in my bottle...and I'm sad about it. Let it sit for a bit and maybe come back to it in a month or so. Hope that helps. ☺

Wow, good to know. I've only ever tried Flowerbomb from Viktor & Rolf and I wasn't a fan.

I own Babycat and Rifaaqat, and agree with her review. I paid $50 Cdn. for an 80 ml.bottle of Rifaaqat and 200 Euro ($295 Cdn.) for 75 mls. of Babycat in Portugal, so the former is the better buy by a factor of more than six to one. . I would also mention that the performance of Rifaaqat leaves something to be desired. If Paris Corner could improve the projection and sillage of this otherwise exemplary product, I would pay double the price with glee. I've heard of some people layering these scents to derive more mileage from their Babycat. Dominic Ropion's Babycat is a masterpiece. It is sad indeed that it is so hard to find and so very pricey.
Yes, love them both but Babycat has a certain something on Rifaaqat, and is a little less sweet in my opinion. These two are my favorite vanillas! Thanks for watching and sharing! ☺

@@nor690 The projection and sillage works fine for me with Rifaqaat BUT if we are comparing it to Babycat...Babycat has the better projection and sillage in my opinion. Hope that was helpful 🙂
I got three bottles of Rifaaqat. Still cheaper than YSL Babycat. Babycat is out of reach and cost for me.

Is it unisex?
In my opinion it’s definitely a very feminine scent. but if you are into fruity-floral fragrances, I would say try to get your hands on a small decant to see for yourself. And if you aren’t into it, it makes for a nice gift for someone who digs that scent profile. Hope that helps!

Hmmm, I haven't heard about Lattafa Maharjan Gold before..thanks for the mention. In regards to Nebras, I think it's a just a fragrance that needs time to sit in order for it to really pop. Give it a little time.

Yes, most definitely! This is a fragrance that you have to be patience with, let it sit for a few weeks bare minimum. Hopefully it will improve a bit, mine did! ☺

I don’t even like vanilla or lavender and this perfume is amazing 😮💨😍 when I looked up the notes I was like you’re joking 😭 now someone got me hooked on framed by Paco Rabanne, which also has vanilla with Jasmine and mango. Definitely smell that one if you haven’t.

Yo!!!! When you said that’s wild, that’s exactly the word I said. There is a wild note in there, the musk and it smells GAMEY. I can’t get past that! I don’t think musk is good for me, too animalice. I wasn’t too impressed. I like qimmah so much better. Idk I’ll try wearing it again. I really thought it would be sexier and more cacao notes
Wow, gamey is wild...lol. I can't say I ever got that with Nebras. For me the wild part was how tamed and muted the fragrance seemed on the initials sprays. Definitely thought it would have been more cacao filled but at the time it was light. However, after it letting it sit....the fragrance got better and the cacao got stronger. Maybe it give it a few weeks and revisit it. Thanks for sharing. ☺
I bought this fragrance about 3 months ago and in has changed a lot! The vanilla is waaay more prominent, and the black pepper is not as sharp as it was in the beginning. It's spring time now, so it's going to sit until fall/winter and I do believe it is going to be even better. I have no option to try Babycat where I live, so I'm bumbed about that, but as a stand alone fragrance, Rifaaquat is really amazing.

I've been wanting to do one for a while now, but I still want to experiment with more men's fragrance before I put one out. Right now I mostly know more about women's fragrances and some unisex scents. I will get there, I promise! 😆

I only paid 20 for mine but I'm so irritated that people lie just to make a few bucks. They could be honest and the company will still compensate them for the review.
I get where you are coming from but I don't know if people are necessarily lying in their reviews. My bottle definitely did change with time and became much stronger than it was with my initial impressions. Some people might have just reviewed their bottles later in the fragrance journey. I think $20 is a good deal especially if you are willing to wait for the fragrance to mature a bit. You might enjoying it more in the long run. Hope that was helpful. ☺
Is this wearable for spring and summer nights out?
For me, I think I like this more for fall, winter and spring. Might be a bit much for the summer. Hope that helps. 🙂

Did you give it away because it wasn't a closer enough clone for you or because in general the scent wasn't doing it for ya? Someone recently mentioned that they thought Nayel Queen was a better clone, however I can't speak on it as I have never tried it myself.
