Wurkkos ts11 hes the good throw with less spill
I want to see a version with 3x XHP 70.3 HI using 3x 26650 batteries. I wonder how much more lumens it could get.
26650 batteries are not that better than 21700… I would even say I prefer 21700 over 26650.
Just so say this video is fantastic. Love how you show the distance on google maps. I’d suggest showing the distance with a text overlay on screen so it’s easier to see on mobile. Also, leave text on screen a few seconds longer. I’m a fast reader but had to rewind and pause several times to read the text. Great vid though
I appreciate the video but you should know your opening sequence sucked. 1 minute before it gets to anything. Start strong and captivating then show the parts much later
payed 55 EURs of alixpress with shipping and 4 batteries
Love your flashlight comparison videos br9 they r EPIC
I'Ve got the XHP70.3 HI CRI Version and would you say the relative and constant lumen output is the same as the xhp70.2 ? Just different beam pattern/CRI etc?
I do not know that, has to be tested.
Amazing
It is great for what it is. A very small EDC pocket light with high CRI in 4000k and 6000K too, Anduril 2 with RGB now AUX lights, low thermal mass and inexpensive. Much better than my Lumintop FWAA. I currently own 4 of them, plus the new single emitter SFT25R that rocks.
The performance on this light is just terrible IMO, my 18350 Convoy S2+ B35AM is much better than this and barely bigger, it has great battery life too compared to this.
I was going to buy this flashlight until I asked sofirn where to buy spare battery's and they told me I can't buy them then I saw the olight marauder mini for €140 so I bought that one instead and I really like the olight
Thorough review, thanks! These are great for close work, tent. Battery life is short so I use these at first two settings or low on the ramp setting. When on high, the light gets fairly hot but the heat does not go through the headband and rubber carrier. As with all flashlights, the light is ramped down as the flashlight heats up. I use a 3 inch piece of double-sided velcro. I place the rough/hook side of the velcro to the headband where the rubber holder is. The velcro sticks strongly to the headband. This makes the headband even more comfortable. I buy several and keep them in my cars and garage, and house in the emergency/power outage box.
Sweet light... just wish it ran Anduril 2.0
Ok I really like the 16k lumen rating, but its thicker I want a flooded with this much power, the other light I want similar to this is the Imalent ms03 as it has a thinner body but the run times don’t compare it seems
jak wyłączyć zieloną diode, nie potrafię, pomocy, help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No rubber for weather sealing? That's a bit of an issue if I can't use it in the rain.
Если вылетает заглушка, то он герметичен.
Very nicely done review, Richard. I like your overhead drone shots as they help me understand the beam profiles from a vertical perspective. 🔦👍🏼 It got myself a TD01c as my birthday present. It was priced just a little bit more than the older TD01, so I went for the one with the buck circuit driver. Initially I thought of getting the Sofirn SF26 but I think the latter also has a linear FET driver. 🤔 A few people commented that the TD01C is the replacement for the TD01 but apparently that isn't true. Wurkkos is still selling the FET driven TD01 model alongside the TD01C. Several months back the price difference between the two was big enough to sway budget minded buyers into getting the regular TD01, but in November Wurkkos brought the TD01C's price tag down. I compared the TD01C with my other two TIR optics throwers - the Wurkkos TS11 and the Sofirn IF22A. The TD01C obviously has a more intense hot spot, but in terms of practicality I think I would carry the Sofirn IF22A more frequently. That said, after my curiosity has been quenched I don't think I'll buy another thrower like the TD01C. I realized that I prefer high powered flooders than throwers with pencil like beams! 😀
Did they upgrade the driver recently?
Yes, it now has stabilized driver
Hallo L.R.O, thanks for your detailed review. I also read your review on BLF. I have an HS10, I really like it for its compact size, and USB-C. LH351D 4000K, the beam is quite nice. Overall a great little light. Except for the mushy button/switch cover, it's so bad I can feel the internal switch components when pressing it. It's horrible, it feels *cheap*. Now I've done the button mod, adding a plastic sheet spacer below the rubber cover, on top of the switch. It's a really really HUGE improvement IMO IME. Now the button press feels so much nicer, firm, crisp. I can't believe how good it is with this simple mod. This is how it should've come from the factory.
Best review I've seen on this light. Very helpful

I have the Q8 plus. Got a Wurkkos Ts32. Was very disappointed in that one. Can get the IF30 for 25% off right now. Would you say its better then the Wurkkos ts32? That one was a huge let down for me. I dont know if I got a defective unit. But battery life is terrible, and sustained lumens, is terrible. For a soda can light. I do love the Q8 plus though.
If you already have Q8 plus and ts32, keep those. What I do not like about IF30 is only one battery, forgot to say about it.
@@FlashlightTech Yea, seems pointless if I have a q8 plus. I do want to get a Convoy 3x21 though!

thanks for the video. 4000k is clearly better. it shows the true colours and doesn't blind other people. sadly, it is rare to find 4000k lamps nowadays.

That is how every flashlight works. No flashlight actually holds, max lumens. If you get a crazy expensive Streamlight. It will hold max lumens for maybe 2 minutes.

Worth watching just to listen to the music. Good vid, by the way. Is this light an wk03 with a tailswitch? I have the wk03 and bang for buck it's a great little light (probably not for the over- critically spoilt flashaholics though). I will most likely add the td02 to my collection if it has decent runtimes which is why I asked the above question. I'll look it up anyway. Keep the great vids and music coming Richard.
Do you know if you need anything besides the extender tube & 18650 battery?
As I know that is everything you need
@Richard O or ANYONE - 1) does it have battery level indicators? If yes please state in detail like colors and related level like 100-75%, 75-50% etc 2) The body texturing looks sharp and uncomfortable to hold. Is it?
For me it is comfortable and it has led on button green, blinking green, red, blinking red each 25%
I love the music and the place you filmed.
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
nice review, nice music. great jobs bro
So it doesn't even reach the 1800 lumens?
No, at least in my tests
@@FlashlightTech It seems to be the same with all test results. I honestly don't care about max output. As much as balance point. And this is basically a 4-500 lumen light. If you use it for more then 3-5 minutes. I use my lights to walk my dogs. I like lights that have a balance point of 800-1200. My head lamp balances at 400. No need for a 400 lumen flashlight.
Enjoyed your presentation, including the background music! 👍 The IF23 was my first Sofirn torch back in early April and I chose it over the IF24 as I was mainly into 21700 format flashlights. There is still room for the IF24 Pro in my modest collection, but still I haven't thought of buying one. 😀 The IF24 Pro's reflector is actually user removable. Someone told me that he bought a second IF24 Pro and ordered diffuser reflectors from the Convoy online store. He said that, with the modified reflector the SFT40 emitter is extra floody than the original factory equipped one. Not sure why anyone would want a floodier beam (the regular IF24 is floodier to begin with) but apparently the IF24 Pro is customizable to a certain extent. As I already have the IF23 with the 6500K CCT, I'll make sure to get the 5000K version of the IF24 Pro when I decide to buy one! 🔦😎
Thank you for information, I did not like that it does not reach 1800lm
@@FlashlightTech I find Wurkkos and Sofirn's brightness figures to be somewhat arbitrary and confusing at times. I can understand that smaller lithium ion cells like the 14500 are expected to have lower lumen figures. When it comes to 18650 cell models, both companies advertise their products as capable of outputting anywhere from 1200 lumens to 3500 lumens. The Wurkkos FC13 and FC13s with the Cree XHP50B emitter is rated for 3500 lumens while the FC11c can only manage 1200 lumens with its Nichia 319a LED. These two models use the same 18650 battery format. I've noted that the throwy/floody models like the TS11, FC12, FC13 (SFT40), SC32 and TD02 are advertised as 1800-2050 lumens, but 1200-1300 lumens for the SC13 and FC11 (Samsung LH351D or Nichia 319a) are rather lower than the average output claims. Does it mean that Wurkkos and Sofirn exaggerated some of their products' brightness values but are more truthful with their other models? Or is it because neither the LH351D nor the 319a LEDs are capable of running as hot as the Luminus SST40 or SFT40? 🤔
@@StratmanII As I know 519A, lh351D are about 1000 lm max. SST40 is approximately 1800lm, while SFT40 can go above 2200lm. Sometimes output depends on the battery used.
@@FlashlightTech Thanks for your input, Richard. I guess that explains why my Sofirn IF25A's quad Luminus SST-20 emitters are rated at 3800 lumens while my Wurkkos TS25 quad Samsung L351Ds are good for 4000 lumens in total. 🤔 I just received a Sofirn Sc28 by mail today. It's not my first XHP50 series flashlight, but neither Sofirn nor Wurkkos indicates whether they're using genuine Cree made LEDs or some Chinese copy. I posted a question to Wurkkos and Sofirn's channels on RUclips and received no replies with regards whether they are using non Cree XHP50 or XHP70 series emitters. Charles BridgeTEC, who did a review of the SC28 claims that his review unit was fitted with a Chinese copy of the Cree XHP50B but I've not come across anyone else saying the same thing. It strikes me as odd because both Sofirn and Wurkkos are highly regarded budget flashlight makers and they've been using genuine Samsung, Luminus and Nichia LEDs. I just don't see why both companies would resort to using Cree emitter clones instead of the genuine diodes.
Sofirn are about to release an IF23 Pro. It has the improved ergonomics of the IF24 lights with a few other improvements. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I believe it will be the best EDC flashlight in it's price point.
Waiting for mine in the mail. So it actually holds at 1,200 lumens. Thats is perfect for me. I won't use turbo. Just mid and high.
Thank you so much for the graphs. That's what I'm usually after. I wish flashlight companies displayed these graphs themselves. Most non flashlight nerds. Seem to think it actually holds, the number displayed. They have no idea, max lumens only lasts 10 seconds, to two minutes.
отменный канал про свет на ютубе! наверное в топ 10 на весь мир! :))
