3 years ago... My life was miserable with job, parents & friends... In the pandemic.. I lost my job. My mom was terribly sick. I was hopeless.. Depressed.. Very unstable.. My uncle helped me a lot... Was consoling me... And telling it's not my mistake... He shared me this video.. Now I'm watching video.. again.. 🥺 1) I'm grateful with what I have 2) I love my job 3) I'm not using my phone more frequently 4) Deactivated my twitter account - I'm feeling peaceful... 5) I go to library & read lots of books 6) I'm neither lonely nor surrounded by others.... When Simon talked about dating just swipe right, that gave me an idea about employing apps..he might hate me for this though..if u can swipe right on tinder, why not swipe right on job ads..since people nowadays like to swipe right on things, why not on job ads..

The only issue I have with his philosophy, he speaks as if he wants us to depend on the world outside ourselves for courage. No Sir you always will have control of you everything, and everyone outside of ourselves is influence. So Depending on where you are with yourself will determine how you respond to the outer world. Understand this, I can hear that he doesn't from listening to only 2 videos.
I would agree we could all do a better job of leadership, what I don't agree with is the statement that "Millennials, it's not your fault. " If as a leader, I am able to absorb this material to make myself better, then millennials should be able to do the same. My father spent many years in an orphanage, he never used that excuse to justify being a poor human being. He always said he didn't want me to have to experience those same things, so he adapted his behavior so he didn't reflect the horrible parenting he was subjected to. My two cents.

I agree except a leader also jumps in and helps do the job for the person youre managing I hate leaders and or managers that say do this and that and never help out when i tell them to do something i dnt ask them to do something i havent done still do and help them out lead as you would want them to do for you if you dont do that everything else is irrelevent

Describes leadership in hospitals, sad, however true. People wonder why there is an increasing dearth of registered nurses, well, look at the leadership. . .
