Food on American airline companies is dismal compared to Asia or Europe. We all know this. I’m waiting for America to step up their game. Still, it’s worth the price for extra seating room and priority boarding. My typical flight is 13 hours so I want to be comfortable.
Compared to Asia, yes it’s not as good. But European airlines have really fallen off since the pandemic. They’re down to the level of U.S. carriers now.
That towel is shocking. I’ve never had that happen on Delta.

Good coverage of all aspects of what you get in delra premium economy. For the price difference, the premium economy is not worth it. Even if flying for work. I flew ATL - AMS on Delta Airlines last month. Seats are barely any bigger than Delta comfort. You cant have a good sleep on these chairs if you are tall.
Yes, sleeping in premium economy or regular economy is also a challenge for me being 6ft4. Still, not having to fight for the armrest is a good feature of premium economy, but it’s correct; it does come with a price!

Brilliant video. That hot towel should never have been given to you. Shame of you Delta cabin crew. The food really didn’t look great! Reminds me never to fly this route with that airline.

Terrible amenity kit indeed! Wonder why they don't invest in more quirky additions there. Perhaps something with the Delft blauw. Still, the hard product seems worthwhile.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with all comments posted here, even with the video. How can Qatar Airlines be as bad as you say, when they have just been named the No. 1 airline for 2024????
Hi Jillian, thanks for your comments. Unfortunately the airline awards aren’t totally objective…. That’s why it’s good there are independent real life reviews! Ps: I’m not saying they are bad- the product is just not as good as I expected and in my opinion certainly not the best…
Service on Qatar is declining in business class, not consistent either. A pity really as the lounge and service in the lounge is very good. In economy Qatar is not good at all. Toilets in economy are disgraceful.
I am planning to stay here solo in June, did the pools get busy early in the morning?
You should be OK early in the morning! Most guests with children come after 8!
