As a developer on this mod I can confirm this is All True! A bunch of these didint make it into Devlopment mainly because They were either Unused, or just Concepts for things that DID make it into V1 And as you all know many of the V2 Assets got unused due to the cancelation of the original mod

The Game Awards should know that player's voice doesn't equal to good game. Genshin won because it's popular from downloads. Genshin may be a good game but it's own players are complaining about a lot of things like bad artifacts, gacha system, etc. No one has ever complained about the other games listed in TGA.

Honestly, in the heat of all this, we all just kinda forgot that this is a generally meaningless award and this is just to see which game the majority liked. It turned into "vote against this one" "vote against that one" "stupid amount of anti's" shit show. I didn't even know the extent of these guys bitch-slapping each other until *after* it ended -.- This is just my personal opinion and anyone who finds this has no reason to argue with me about my opinion. I don't think Genshin is that bad. Genshin is really pretty and the characters and stories are cool. I voted for Frontiers and was hoping others would too, but the only thing that Genshin has over Frontiers is that it's a mobile game, you can play it just about anywhere. Sonic fans just had to make Sonic lose by trash talking Genshin fans before the final round and spew hoax about bribery. Ironically Sega actually bribed the their fans by giving free DLC then asked their fans to vote SF on Steam Awards 2022. And it still lost to another game originally released in 2020 lmao.

Both of fandoms were equally toxic. Even before the game awards players In fanbase probably already trash talk each other. Even in game awards. The both fandoms shown their Toxic side . But it was all started from Sonic fans toxicity. They decided to bring the Toxic from genshin to Themselves by being racist. Sonic fans should've at least shut their mouth and avoid the drama. If only the Sonic fans did shut their mouth none of this could've happened and the Sonic frontier developer should've won, since the genshin player wouldn't budge to vote anyway. But the Sonic fans decided to be toxic and Be racist. This only brings more hate towards both of Fanbase. Genshin and Sonic.
