Hey guys, this video is a recap on conversations that have recently been had surrounding the next dinosaur to be release for the upcoming skin and nesting update 5. Rumours are that it could be Beipi, Cerato or Galli. I've included conversations around this and you guys commentary on the skin system updates and pictures we got in Phase two for the Isle Discord this week.

I think being able to outswim deino would only really work if they add more water to the maps xD. Have any of yall seen loons swim? I know the beibi aint flying, but I can totaly get it being faster than a croc.

I know it in the water its not faster Then a deino but have a attack so it Can come fast away
Beipie should have superior eyesight underwater due to its large eyes. This will prompt Deino to actually practice ambushing there pray not just using murky water despite doing so barely. Plus superior eye sight Would give it an edge because we expect it to compete with not only Deino but in the future Baryonyx, Suchomimus, Spinosarus, Austroraptor and plenty of other semi aquatic predators.

isn't the pterodactylus strictly an AI creature, sorta like compy but can fly?
Yes, as of now it's probably not gonna be playable any time soon. And even if it does become playable it'll probably be only for sandbox, like the AI creatures in Legacy like oro.

Man i wished it was feathered i love it’s color and gameplay ideas but it looks naked honestly and the Utah suffers with the same issues but nonetheless can’t wait for it. Just imagine black shaggy feathers with light blue accents running down the back and face huge yellow eyes that would look much more terrifying in my opinion
You have to be cautious with adding feathers to a dinosaur. Do it wrong, it looks silly and stupid. Do it right, and it looks badass and terrifying, like the raptors in Prehistoric Planet for instance.
This will definitely be m6 main, I love the therozinosaurids

Troodon is gonna make the isle so much scarier with its calls
small agile gameplay, i do think it should be faster than deino on land, but stamina in water should be limited, but give it greater turning and same speed, so once you sucessfully juke a deino you can out run him
I just feel bad for people who are being ate by deino cannibals, because crocs mothers in real life are gentle to their babies and give them one of best care of entire animal kingdom.
They are limited on land and they need to eat alot to sustain their growth and sizes. Consider also, that other players need a chance to drink without being chomped. The solution is cannibalism to control the population and and feed themselves.
I could see them not putting the beipi in the deino's diet list, therefore not giving the crocs a reason to hunt them.
As a deino main we tend to eat anything we come across regardless of nutrition value. Food is food
We kill and eat things because we're bored, not because we really need to.
I dont think it will be too OP. I thought the ptera would be OP and yet its still pretty easy to ambush from the water as a deino or catch off guard on a carcass. I think it'll be the same thing for this dino, especially since they will share the rivers with the deino

Beipi will be faster on land than a deino so it can escape out of the water if they need to. So it doesn't "need" to be faster than a deino in water, but it probably will be.

i kinda imagine a beipi to deino, like a utah to a carno. maybe not faster, but could definitely out maneuver it, and maybe faster on land than a deino, as another method of escape

Nice recap!!! I think beipi will be able to have bursts of high speed to flee from danger, will be able to float like a duck and swim/dive like a penguin as you said. It will be so much fun!!!
