Yes, I assembled it myself, and while I have some basic knowledge of electronics, there’s not much to teach here. It’s a simple DIY kit that I purchased and soldered together following the instructions. This is just a video on how to build an electronic kit where all the parts are sold together. If you are trying to learn electronics, you should start with simpler circuits like flip flop circuit.

Wheres that Flux? Even if the liquid solder has it pre mixed in I think most people would dab abit for flow & if I'm not mistaken it helps protect components and chips from excessive heat if a chil takes longer to remove (even tho ur flow is, "🤌" ) 😅✅
But this is soldering paste and flux is not needed. The flux inside the solder paste helps clean the metal surfaces and promotes good solder flow during the reflow process.

How are you getting the clicking sound?
There is a buzzer that makes this sound.
@DIY_Simple_Circuits it's a piezo buzzer but instead of it being fixed tone, it's one thst relies on the source of power to have a frequency

This is a classic astable multivibrator circuit that was explained many times in many places. For example, you can read how it works here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multivibrator
Your case fits like a glove. Mine not even close on the tuning capacitor side.
These sets vary in quality, from not bad to very poor.

Yes, the tuning capacitor was adjusted by the regulators on the other side.
@@DIY_Simple_Circuits Thank you very much. If you have time can you say which screws adjustment is for AM and then the other two must be FM. There are four screws.
As I remember, after soldering, only two screws are available for adjustment. The one at top is for AM.
@@DIY_Simple_Circuits Oh on mine there are 4 adjustable screws. I guess I will do some tweaking to see what I can get. Right now one FM station out of 10 available and no AM out of 4 available. Thanks again for all your videos.
