The fact I know who the person and is a fellow youtuber, is the rex you vs in the first clip and I'm confused as to how what they said is to be salty, it seems a little harsh to say that about someone is all. I do enjoy the video but they were just saying that the chasing/pushing out was going a little far.

I think rex is kinda perfect how it is, i know its a solo dino, but its raw dmg and hp really make up for it since its a ambush predator, and i mean a strict ambush predator and not a generalist dino so it should really stick to forests and itll be fine really

I definitely agree with this vid about the rules like hunting or terri but for me when I terri as my giga first I left my neck not to show passive but to show scares now of course people get confessed but I then always 3 call to threaten them to get out but I can definitely see why must players get confused about it cause usually it jus starts with a 3 call in a terri but I do like to space up my immersion but that's jus me tho.

Oh yea couldn't agree more giga definitely rules any plain biome. It's feel refreshing an such even a solo giga myself definitely sees differences before an after had a terri fight with a rex at Ripple Beach a week ago which is also giga friendly turf nearly almost died but still won none the less so yea definitely a major update for giga. An as for rexes debuff turn yeeeea I can definitely see how bad turn radius has become trust me jus started playing rex an I'm like wait wasn't rex turn radius abit faster before? But anyway rex is a nightmare when it comes to ambushes got me a pair of gigas ambushed in the woods so yea rexes rule the forest and gigas rule the plains

What do you think is better, the ripping bite or the charged piercing bite? I know charge does more but takes stamina

RIP Ano~ They shouldnt have used BB, it just puts your hits on Cd and doesnt achieve much. Just staying hunkered and rotating to get tail slams is enough to survive most scenarios.

In my experience giga is easy to take out with a pack of allos. I run speed allo to bait it or keep up with it while pack mates sandwich it in and do dmg. The pack will take to much dmg with a waiting game you need to do burst dmg. Otherwise you'll just burn through Stam while your health is chewed away.

Maybe it's a good thing Giga has the advantage (?) You mentioned it yourself, Rex is an ambush predator and their preferred biomes are in the forest, not large open plains (tho that is optional). I mean idrc if they give its turn radius a bit of a buff again, but I will admit I'm not a fan of the constant rex presence at places like GP. It's refreshing that they finally have a reason not to just hang out in the open 24/7.

I donno, I kind of feel like Rex should keep the turn decrease considering that in so many scenarios, once they get the BB, the fight is generally over. It's a pretty OP mechanic, and atm the only way to balance around it seems to be hindering the Rex's mobility. Good fights tho. I like Allo, but as a solo player it seems like the worst possible option to play alone. 😅

I think allo needs a buff, I also think allo should get a new bite attack that turns the current bleed damage to raw damage instantly. So if your target is running around with max bleed and you hit them with this bite it will end up doing a lot of damage. Obviously this bite will have a large cool down. I also think allos voice ability should increase turning radius and precise movement speed for 30 seconds so if a player is staying still a allo can out-maneuver them for a short period of time. Idt it would be too op as a few amount of playables have bleed resistant hide & calls.

This is why I've left dinosaur realism servers in general. Not only because I've grown bored of doing the same thing over and over, but also because rule breaks are everywhere and people don't own up to their mistakes. WWD had this issue, and from what I remember before leaving, it got worse. Some other realism servers on BoB had a lot of admin abuse issues. But I saw nothing out of the ordinary here. What I saw was a pack of allos hunting a Rex, and the Rex was just defending itself. Not sure why that wouldn't be allowed but not really my place to say 🤷‍♀️

totally agree, whats the fun, also waste of a hunt/body/ and hunger, its like looking for a match and being told by the matchmaking system that you will automatically win, not get to play the game, and have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes to match make again, killing afks is pointless and is in a way waste of your own time

I have had this happen similarly to me, same server same situation. The way I think to save ppl from this would be to make it that no matter if you forfeit the other person can kill you based on hunger. You were clearly hungry and acted out the rule accordingly but bc some salty player didn’t get what they want it’s the opposite. I’ve had this happen, killed a player and the admin in the area tp’d that player back to the scene of the crime, grew them on the spot and I got a strike. I didn’t know at the time that 3 calling back was entering a challenge and that you can’t kill regardless. I’m used to the ruthlessness of that rule not this baby gait shit.

Totally agree: as someone who crashes constantly on realism servers to come back to a hatchling Dino, it sucks. It’s not fair to the player, it’s not realistic and it’s not giving you an immersive hunt.

The current update about pounce is so broken they become god mode unkillable. Devs must be on crack

Honestly, I would be highly irritated by Chees behavior….They mock you for your strategy [That worked!] then they stop multiple times still within your territory/POI and get angry at you when bite them. Not even a full out attack, short bites to the tail and ONLY when they stopped for too long. Also despite having no stam still means you can trot so trot and stop stalling every 5 step 😂

It's always a personal debate to show mercy. On one hand, you need to survive because you never know when you'll have another chance at food. On the other hand, you don't want to be "that player" killing afks and not getting a proper engagement/interaction out of your efforts and messing up other people's day. But if these dino games have taught anyone anything about mercy, it's that mercy can wait until you are full. xD good show of sportsmanship all the same broski!!!

Ah yes giga my main apex love playing him even tho it's hard to main giga solo it's not impossible for me it's about location and who your hunting but definitely fun and challenging when playing solo as giga remember being hunted by yutys a couple days ago an know I wouldn't survive so I chose defend myself between rocks which saved me in that encounter an yesterday winning my first terri fight against a rex for my poi but definitely a brutal fight tho all an all definitely not impossible to play giga solo but much more fun an easy when teamed up with a other giga keep up the vids man there great 👍
