Super Print V6 Volcano hot end assembly
First apologies, for reposting this after removing the previous. And a big thank you to one of my followers @TechieNI for pointing out that the audio track was messed up after 9 minutes with a second audio. So here we go again!
This is an assembly of the Super Print V6 Volcano hot end. and how to correctly tension the nozzle to the throat so as to get a good seal and no leaks. This does apply to all metal hot ends in that regard.
I hope you find this useful, And if you want One of these hot ends yourself or other ones that they do
This is the kit I have which is just the hot end as I already had a heater , thermistor and fans.
But they have more varieties for those that need it.

    The Kidoodle3D MiniBox A1 printing a Dragon Keychain by MESHMAHEM. And finally slicing a model with the Kidoodle slicer. this was almost scary only because I'm used to a much more complex set of settings and tunings but this was just Easily Simple! The model was only available free for a limited time at #Meshmahem 's #Thangs page here: thangs.com/designer/Mesh%20Mayhem/3d-model/Articulated%20Unicorn%20Dragon%20Keychain%20Print-in-Place-1089713 Time estimated by the slicer was off but it was still very fast. Just under an hour for this print! anyway more to come as I explore how this thing works and formulate a more broad insight to it for more information about this printer as well go here Https://www.kidoodle3d.com #Kidoodle3d #MiniBoxA1 #Thangs #Meshmahem #3dprintingUK #madeforkids #3dprintingforkids #highspeed #fast3dprinting

    This is the Door stop I used to try out JAMG HE High speed PLA+ probably not the most optimal but it has sections where it can go up to the speeds like 300 and 350 millimetre per second. Using the temperatureof 230c listed on the box It was able to maintain the flow rate even at the higher speeds when the printer sped up to do those sections. finish was good even with those speeds and the finish model came out really well Good experience from a brand I had not tried before. They are very new to the market and currently only do PETG and PLA Plus but if they keep up this results in the future I can see them expanding to future material types and colours model: www.printables.com/model/626010-vase-mode-door-stop link to filament used: JAMG HE High Speed PLA+ Filament, 50~450mm/s Printing Speed 1kg Hi-Speed PLA Plus Printing Filament 1.75mm ± 0.01 Accuracy 3D Printing Filament Spool for FDM 3D Printers (1000G, Black) amzn.eu/d/00G5C3Ww #crafting #printables #3dprinting #3dprintingUK #pla #jamghefilament #functionalprint

    any reason u cant use silicon tubing rather than the ptfe

    • @CyBerJak
      @CyBerJak 16 дней назад

      To be fair I can't see a reason not as long as you check the material properties as there are a few different versions of silicone. Some of it is intended for high temperature and would be safe to do this usage. But there are some that are not so safe even at the low end temperatures with maybe the exception of PCL which I haven't had the pleasure of trying yet. As an example people use high temperature gasket silicone to make socks for hot ends and make replacements for bed springs. In short do your homework on the silicone to make sure it's safe for the high temperatures so that you don't bring harm to yourself. I'd be happy to try some if somebody had a link for some suitable high temperature tubing that had the correct dimensions

      @@travelling_hobbit I would be very curious where to get one in this diameter they are roughly 2.1 to 2.2 mm outer diameter with a 1.8 mm inner diameter just to see how well they hold up. as far as cutting them off as you may see in the video I tried a theory that you can after a few moments just slide it off now that's not ideal if you're joining spools But if you have random amounts of say 200 g that might be worth the effort just sliding it down to get one more use out of each one depending on overall cost. I know there will be people that will try it 😂. I'll have a look around in the meantime to see if I can find similar. But just be careful using a lighter that can generate a lot more heat and cause some of the silicone to vaporize

    First a thank you to JAMG HE for giving me an opportunity to try out their PETG. it actually performed really well even at the 150mm/sec I set the print for. finish was good , and didn't string on me. This lovely dragon chalice I found on printables some time ago seemed to be a good choice to try it with and it really worked well bringing out the detail. links for the material and the model below. Only things I will nit pick on while it lists the temperature range it would be nice to see recommended bed temperature and speeds. The vacuum seal pack was the typical sealed on both ends meaning that once you've opened it you may need to get a dry box storage container or your own vacuum seal bags. hopefully in the future they will upgrade this to Ziploc style that a lot of other companies are using to make them resealable to protect the filament if you don't use it in one go. Other than that It worked really well so if somebody asked about them I could definitely say I had good results. This is also true they do say press together. Also the captive area for the joint weld is fair sized but this also heats either side of the tube as expected which could allow it to slight swell under pressure. SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 This is just a couple of prints using models from the @Sunlu Official website. The hammer, is one of the free models on the page for the material. The other was listed alongside the first on the 11th anniversary page. I will give the link below for the 11th anniversary page as it has both. I did both of these prints at around 250 to 300 mm per second, and it performed really well. I must admit I do like the new spool as well. It definitely feels stronger than the typical PLA+ from them which I am very familiar with as it was one of the first two filament brands I had ever used when I first started. temperatures listed on the spool for the speeds are accurate. retraction settings will be unique to your printer. The colour it's very vibrant for this colour. But it also is a colour that almost hides some of the layer line details meaning that your prints depending on the geometry may have a nicer finish appearance. I did notice the LEDs being super bright type cause a little bit of extra heat which should really be dissipated better so I've added a small heat sink with some thermally conductive putty which seems to work very well and keeps the heatsink from popping off. is the same kind of heat sink you find on a stepper driver. maybe later on use them early conductive tape. Any idea if it's wcuratet What's your value for a voron 2.4

    • @CyBerJak
      @CyBerJak 2 месяца назад

      Accuracy is very good. The thing is this tool is not to tell you what the correct tension is but to help you equalise the belt tension for both belts. If you have one belt that is tighter or looser than the other it can cause skewing of your gantry while it's trying to move. There are many opinions as to what the correct belt tension is. I don't personally believe there is a physical number specific to even the model because minor nuances from one machine to the next due to the person that built it will differ. This is why some guides suggest an audio app that will tell you a frequency to try for. This tool will then once you have one belt to that tension equally make that same tension for your other belt. If you have an actual Voron 2.4 Then you would also use it for your quad Z to make sure all four belts are exactly the same tension. I usually shoot for a bass like note. Tight but not to the point where it makes a mid-range or high note because there will be a lot of tension put on the belt during movement in core XY

      I bought one, it should arrive this week or next week, I was thinking about plotting some data like the GT2 Belt Tension Meter (RC2) project. Do you think you could make a static belt tension sheet like in RC2? Because by having more than one piece of data, we can convert the data into something more realistic and accurate.

    • @CyBerJak
      @CyBerJak 2 месяца назад

      @reubertt there was a video o watched recently done by someone else. It focused on the 2.4 Voron and even gave some specific values based on their tool. All good with the science but I've still found little nuance differences either due to build ability of the maker, parts used in some cases not to official BOM It's kinda like asking someone for their slicer settings and then wondering why they didn't give you the same pristine result that person had.

    • @reubertt
      @reubertt 2 месяца назад

      @@CyBerJak In this case, I was just thinking about the calibration test that they ask you to do on the project's Github. In which a 250mm belt is attached to a fixed location and you add weight (they use pounds, I would prefer kg but it doesn't matter) and this way you can discover the tensioning curve. Their DIY version Github is well-guided. With this device it would be possible to have even more precision, my question is just how accurate it is between models.

A Dragon Bust printed with #FantasyFilaments Transparent Orange Both samples were sent to me by @3D Filaments so a big thank you to them for letting me try these and share them The Uzy works great at 220c first layer with 200 other layers The Fantasy Filament 220c first layer but then I actually could do as low as 180c other layers with slower speeds. this print was 195c other layers at 80mm/s. I must admit even though drying continuously the transparent orange can get a little stringy if you have very short layer times larger prints will likely work better than tiny detailed ones which have a tendency to want to string as the nozzle will try and pick up a little. I'm pretty sure though there is a sweet spot where you can get away with points in a model as little as 1 mm but it's going to be lower temperature and slower speed most likely with a high travel speed. overall absolutely loved both. and depending on the lighting I have to admit the Transparent Orange actually looks golden or like golden orange which gives a really awesome effect. models: www.printables.com/model/714442-dragon-coin www.printables.com/model/115527-dragon-bust filament links 3dfilaments.co.uk/product/fantasy-filaments/ 3dfilaments.co.uk/product/uzy-pro-pla-filament/ #3DPrinting #uzyfilament #3dprinter #3dprintinguk #Uzy #3dfilamentsuk #fantasyfilaments #dragon #printables

    Final Captain Jack Sparrow model and a shot of all 4 being sent to #LittleHarbour Children's Hospice in Cornwall, United Kingdom. I took great pleasure in printing these knowing this character is known for showing up in such hospitals all over brings some happiness to children that are under this type of care. I would like to personally thank each of the four artists that gave me permission to print these models to be donated to the auction that the charity is running. links to each of the models will be given at the bottom along with a link to the charity. materials used: @gratkit Black HSPLA, @Sunlu Official white HSPLA, @Anycubic Official white PLA links to models: www.printables.com/model/335686-jack-sparrow www.printables.com/model/632718-jack-sparrow-bust-fanart cults3d.com/:1549276 www.printables.com/model/819924-jack-sparrow-stencil www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/6607d64d27545665e2d63586 link to charity: www.chsw.org.uk/our-care/our-hospices/little-harbour #3dprintinguk #3dprinter #highspeed3dprinting #highspeedpla #Captainjack #captainjacksparrow #johnnydepp #littleharbour #sunlu #anycubic #gratkit

    I printed this with some @Anycubic Official Whit PLA that I won not long ago in one of their giveaways. It is being donated to the charity #littleharbour who are a children's hospice charity in the South West of the United Kingdom. Anyone who knows the man behind this character, no exactly why it is was the best character to chose to be donated for an auction. so thank you to the artists that gave me permission to use their models for this purpose. Model available from www.printables.com/model/290501-spyro-the-dragon-sculpt Very nice filament, printed smoothly and without problem. And you get that nice shading effect because it's dual colour co-extrusion.

    Looks like a decent dryer. The rear loading may not work for all as you said. Fir me personally and my new system it won't work as the rear will be against a wall for close enough but over all it looks the biz.

    What’s been your experience with the spider v3?

    • @CyBerJak
      @CyBerJak 3 месяца назад

      Overall very positive. It has been the core central board for this build. I have found one comment from GitHub which may be correct as a few people including myself have found if you're a post controller is powered down and you turn on the rest of the printer suddenly your z-axis motors will start to turn or at least depending on where they're connected. Somebody suggested it was a loose connection at the bridge at the upper right hand side of the board that you have to put on if you're using a single voltage I tightened that and it seemed to do it less so I'm going to probably follow the same steps the other person did after considering whether or not I want to increase stepper motor voltages or not. But other than that it has been very good for the purpose. The fact that it has the onboard can bus controller Made it very easy when I decided to go ahead and utilise that with a stealth burner using the EBB 2209

      @@CyBerJak Nice, I have two fystecs I’m building, one with 2.2, and the other with 2.3. I wanted the newest board and keep one as backup, but I couldn’t find any reviews on the v3 other than the documentation for it sucks.

      @@erik3205 yes there have been some comments I've seen both in the Facebook group chat. And even comments on GitHub. I've been trying to fill in the gaps where I can for people if a person gets stuck. It's pretty straightforward though if one is using klipper. And it definitely would do good as a replacement for the two mentioned

    Really good, fair video mate. I wouldn't worry too much about the "professional" look, if you've seen the state of my videos you'd already know that ;) I just call it a good 'un if I don't have to keep restarting because I've used swearwords :) What matters is whether the video contains the relevant information put across in a way that engages and this does that. Keep making videos on things that interest you and the audience will find it.
