    I'm just now finding you. Welcome to the FP community. Thanks for your videos! Great video here. I don't mind PenBBS I just don't care for pens that don't post and I dislike the fact that most of my PenBBs pens are impossible to clean out completely. Ink gets trapped inside the filling mechanisms. But I do like to fiddle with them and they are great writers for the most part. Some of their acrylics are super. Keep making videos. I will definitely keep watching.

I bought the amazon; *Lamy Vista FP* ( $45 canadian) in fine nib... with an ink converter ($20 cad) and a 4 pack / 20 cartridges in black lamy ink ($25 cad) Total = *_$90.oo cad_* didn't care for it, & regifted it to my wife. She luvs it ! Then I Amazon ordered the *Lamy Safari FP in Matte black* ($50 cad) in medium nib + ink converter ($20 cad)... Total *_$70 canadian_* . {arriving 2 weeks & 4 days} You can really , see the differences in your writing , with the Medium to the fine nibs.. It's a good test....looking forward to seeing more Paper & ink tests for your Lamy fountain pen . Happy new Year to you and your Family. Cheers

    You sir, gain a new subscriber... I am a Lamy owner, a charcoal model and a vista model with fine nibs, both of them, they were'nt my first option at first, but, after years... I realized how good this pen is, I've been using it for everything, and, of course I like the classical style of other pens, but, somehow I just felt in love with the minimalistic design of the Lamy at the end... So... I just don't need or want another pen... But, I need to try the EF neeb... Just for curiousity...

    I prefer the heavier pen, 159, it's made with better material. I can't understand why so many think a cheaper version is better. The manufacturers are smart in cutting cost by replacing metal with plastic. I collect as many as metal 159s before they are no longer are made. My only problem with the 159, I purchased the Goulet pen #6 and for some reason it doesn't fit with the jinhao feed. I prefer heavier and thick juicy lines. I want to feel the ink on the paper. I hate that Jinhao doesn't make more round broad nibs. Does anyone ever experienced this problem? If so, what broad/stub nib and feed works best for you when writing with a Jinhao? Thanks for the video btw.

    • @soulademics
      @soulademics 5 месяцев назад

      Same, I prefer the metal 159, I really like it! The weight and the material is really well made and I know for sure it wont crack on the barrel or the cap. I just worry about the x159 cracking on the barrel or the cap.

      Wow, It never occurred to me that they might phase out the older more expensive model. You're absolutely correct. I have 5 159's because I love them, and you can't beat the price and what you get for it. I have two X159's. I may have to pick up a mother couple 159's!

      My favorite color way as of right now, its just breathtaking. It feels like i'm royalty anytime I pull it out.:). I feel you on the quality aspect, but I only have problems with some of my penbbs pens writing dry. But I heard they are made that way because of writing script in China, its better that way. Im not sure if thats the reason or not. But this round medium wrote like a dream, straight out of the box. My Pennbs touchdown filler took sometime before it started writing like a dream. Thanks for checking out my video:). Have a good weekend.
