Thank you for this! I recently was gifted one and it was running hot. I only got as far as just exposing the fan and sides I don’t have the required tools to complete the cleaning! Needless to say it’s much cooler and I was able to remove a lot of dust and debris thank you

What an excellent video very descriptive you take your time and explain everything perfectly. I bought a Xbox One off of marketplace and it was very loud and put off a ton of heat. Using your video I took it apart and found nothing but dirt dust and grime. After cleaning it and getting it all back together it is very quiet and puts off hardly any heat. Thank you so much New subscriber

Great tutorial with good camera angles and descriptions. A couple very small critiques though; on putting it together you circled an incorrect screw hole for reassembly of the inner case. You did proceed to put all 8 screws in the correct spots and showed that process, so no big deal. Also, those holes were marked C1 through C8, which might have been an easier way to identify them to the viewer. The second critique is just that components should always be disconnected before removal, and you usually did. However, you left the wire attached to the wifi card during removal and it would have been a little safer to disconnect that first so as not to risk damaging the thin wire.

Thanks bro, after taking my Xbox out the loft to replay The Witcher 3 it’s safe to say my original machine needed its first clean! Very well explained tutorial, thanks a lot - will say it helped big time that I had a plastic pry tool for the pull/push part of the tutorial. Big smile on my face after my Xbox worked after reassembly - earned a sub!

It's actually impossible for me to take off the bottom plates, I cant get the tool into the sides to unhook it

one time my ps4 was so loud cause i had the fans facing the wall that the sound was starting to be heard through my mic and i even went to the headphone settings and it was going up lol

Well there you go, done in 45mins, cause I'm a bit ocd and went slow and thoroughly... got all the nooks and crannies 😆 Also jst a tip for anyone watching this, it's good practice to vacuum the back and side vents on ur ps4 once a month, prevents buildup. Even although i do this my ps4 still needed this proper deep clean 🤘😎🤘

I have had my PS4 since 2015. And now i sounds like jet plane taking off. It hasn't been clean since the day I got in 2015. The bad thing I am afraid of taking it a part. I have ask a friend and we will try to clean it today. I have done it the first part. But not the fan and the heat sink. Since I'm afraid of doing that. Is there anybody who knows how replace ones hard drive with a SSD? Because if I understand correct one has to replace the OS for it todo so. Chris
