AND then came Season 10 with a new Showrunner & a few new writers that totally ruined a fantastic, loving relationship between Elizabeth & Lucas. 😢😭. Still cannot make sense out of the changes made to WCTH. The show ended for me with the beautiful proposal from Lucas with Little Jack's help & Elizabeth, ecstatic & saying 'Yes to it all!' Unfortunately, I can no longer claim to be a Heartie that loves WCTH.

Such a BEAUTIFUL video. Unfortunately, time has passed & the writers have broken them apart in Season 10. 😢 It's unbelievable & the direction the storyline is going doesn't make sense. Elizabeth did give Lucas her whole heart & now saying she made the 'safe choice' & has had feelings for Nathan 😮😮...so ridiculous. How was Seasons 7-9 so great if Elizabeth didn't really LOVE' Lucas? IMO, the show has been ruined. 😢

Not sure why this BEAUTIFUL video was brought forward on U-Tube, but I'm glad it was. Reminds us of the fantastic relationship the writers built for Lucas & Elizabeth. Little did we know that Season 10 would bring heartache & pian....a knife right through our romantic hearts. Season 10 was so unbelievable...just ridiculous 😮. I can't see Elizabeth & Nathan in a romantic relationship. When did LOVE grow between them? Not sure I'll continue watching the show, just depends on the storylines for Lucas & everyone else. Definitely will not be watching Elizabeth & Nathan.

I totally agree with @carolynlatta5108. WCTH was such a heartwarming show until Season 10 was made.....the story didn't connect at all especially with Season 6-9. Elizabeth's character has changed at least 75% & not for the better. For starters the whole season was unbelievable & in the end they want us to believe that chosing Lucas was the "safe" choice & she always had feelings for Nathan. Watching this video shows Elizabeth & Lucas were building a beautiful, loving, caring relationship. Elizabeth said, 'our time has come', also said, 'even if everything was lost in the fire, there'd still be love', also said, '& if we should marry, I'd have to pull myself away from you ever morning', Elizabeth said 'I LOVE YOU' first, she said, 'YES to it all' when Lucas, with the help of Little Jack, proposed AND she suggested eloping! On top of all this, Elizabeth never went on a date with Nathan, she usually looked agitated when he kept pushing for a date. She told him she had been looking for Jack in him. She told him she loved him, but wasn't IN love with him. Elizabeth showed Nathan nothing but friendship. Yes, we're intelligent enough to know situations change & engagement/weddings get cancelled but the writing in Season 10 was horrible to get that result. Bit if I were a writer, I'd have Elizabeth & Nathan date a couple times, then have Elizabeth realize she made a BIG mistake, she doesn't have feelings for Nathan like she has for Lucas. She would tell Lucas, 'I don't know why I was doubting my love for you, I do LOVE you & want you & I & Little Jack to be together'. But, that'll never happen because Elizabeth is now too selfish, uncaring, rude, giddy & immature. She's becoming very unlikeable, as has Nathan. I know there's millions of viewers & Brian Bird himself said he doesn't care if some fans don't like the direction the show is going & many may stop watching. To me, it's like a big slap in the face & an insult to my intelligence to know they care so little. I'll record the show so I can fast forward past Elizabeth & Nathan scenes, but if storylines for all the other characters, including Lucas, don't get better than what Season 10 portrayed, I will be one of the many that will stop watching.....& That's very sad for me.
