My father had one of these 1957 Buicks in the 70's. I remember being small enough at the time to fit between the door and drive shaft floor hump in the back. He once transported a giant in the car. He attended a wrestling match and afterwards Andre the Giant, Superfly Snooka and their manager were at a pay phone trying to get a cab but couldnt. My father offered them a lift. Which they excepted. My father being a mechanic had recently replaced the suspension in the car. Even so with Andre in the car it leaned down on his side. lol.

This was my first ride when I was in high school and through college. It had orange shag carpet, CB radio, casset player, Fuzz buster, and beanbags. Great vehicle with many memories. Wish I had it today.
A beautiful restoration on one of the most ornate automobiles Buick and General Motors ever produced. This car isn't just a car - it's a parade all by itself! Thank you for sharing it with us.
And now we're gonna put a straight axle in the front end and a big stroked out motor under the hood, four link the rear axle, put on some big wide drag slicks, glue a plastic Jesus on the dash and... right?!? Sorry, I can't help my imagination runs away with me. They just made such awesome looking Gassers. No other cars had the cut out rear fenders like that to let the burnout smoke escape. Nice car, and try to keep it under a hundred miles an hour, cheers!
I once owned a 1957 Fairlane,I thought it was ugly, because I loved the 1955-'56;I fell in love with them. The 1950's era are one of my favorites.the Ford's also cost less.
i saw that today the owner revved it and took off full throttle. I LOVED IT
What a beauty! Nice to see a 4-door in this excellent condition. Love the color!
If I had the dough, I’d swap out the engine to run on French fry oil or something like that. Still would not be a daily driver.
How cool is this car?! Regretfully, you’d die in a crash, after getting about 7 mpg.
Just beautiful!!
Das ist eine toll auto, 👍
Those were the days, cars had style, not like today's cars all cookie cutter look a like and plastic instead of metal.
Brilliant! 😮
😍😍😍😍😍
@@charlesb7019 Hi the Car is still for sale, located in Germany.

Beautiful had a 4 dr hot… blue and white 👍👍👍
I see commonality of certain parts with our base level 59 Cadillac. Greenhouse is the most obvious. Ours was also a 2-door.
Got to drive one of these back in 1961. It felt like a jet compared to the stone cinderblock roach 1959 Chev Biscayne 6 that I was stuck with then.
isto e carro o resto e porqueira brasil
muito bonito isto sim e carro o resto e resto porqueira
We had a 59 Caddy. Two door. Base model. Black with black cloth and white vinyl interior. More emphasis on chrome than this one.
Wow...sounds so good!

I know where one is..in Pennsylvania.
Must be one fine car. Buick was always good. 1957 was another fine year for Buick. Beauty, comfort, and performance all in one ride.
I love the color combo. Very popular in all 56 olds. I believe it's code 63, and 64.
Beautiful car! Thank you for sharing.
Stunning words can't discibe
That’s not a car,,,that’s a SCULPTURE 🥰👍🥰
Had a 86 century it could fit in the middle of this car. Car was completely stripped of features. This thing is awesome.
1957 GM cars accros the board are awesome.
But the public bought the Fords

My dad had a 57 Olds 98 brand new.
My folks had this same car and color except we had a white body and coral roof and it was the Vista Dome flat top 4 door hardtop. I LOVED this car !
Oh yes got to get one
Love it!
I had one but nothing like this awesome beauty. They were plentiful then so it was considered a 2nd used car. This Is Beautiful.
The nicest Pontiac design of the 1950's
These are Art Museum type cars: Pure classics!
Da kannst du stolz sein auf dein schoenes Motorrad.
What an amazing van. My dad had the same exact model. He sold it many years ago. Brings back many memories.
This video (almost) qualifies as... wait for it... wait...CAR PORN!!! 😂
When cars had class and style
She is a beauty. If I had one it would not be a show car but a daily driver. Life is meant to lived not admired.
