Actually, the CHP is not as fine oriented as you may think. Most violations are documented as correctable on the inspection form. Only the very severe violations are issued a citation. That is also true of their BIT program. Fines are not levied for an unsatisfactory inspection, unlike the DOT's Compliance Reviews. The DOT has a fine for every violation found, even if you are rated "satisfactory" at the end of the inspection. Thank you for watching and your comments.
Where do you get your pin for dot
Your PIN came originally on the letter with your DOT number. If you cannot locate the letter, request a DOT PIN from the FMCSA by visiting their PIN Request Page (www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration/request-pin-number) and follow the instructions on the site. You'll need your DOT number and company details/company official information. Currently, you can only request the DOT PIN be sent via mail. The FMCSA will send it to the address they have on file. Thank you very much for your question. If you need additional compliance help, please contact us on our website. jjassociates.us/contact-us/
