I want to thank you so much. I've watched so many videos on how to scan and after scanning what the hell do I do next. YOUR THE ONLY 1 WHO EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.... WHAT TO DO NEXT. Thank you for your patience your explaining everything. I'll be watching every video of yours. You've answered so many questions in a little amount of time that helped me so much in what others I've watched for over 30 minutes and honestly never found out what I'm supposed to do next. Thank you thank you thank you, for your knowledge, your kindness, your empathy, and above all, literally showing me/us how to use the sellers app with, telling me/ us that you have another video telling us what all the area's ( tap on different choices) that us newbie's have no clue on what they mean. And, I've been stuck on how to scan, price, how many are out there and so on. And thanks to you and your kind heart and knowledge I've got a pretty good idea on what I'm doing now. I'm trying to figure out how much to charge for my services. I scout for books, and i get good ones that are one $100 profit, and I also organize them, list them, and pack them. I am thorough with inspection before I list them, and after when I'm preparing them for shipment so it takes me a while. I don't have a job due to health problems so this is it for me. Any ideas on how much I should charge? Sourcing, listing, and packing? I'm sure I can make many boxes per day, but i want to set up some agreement first before I continue.

I also forgot to ask if I do not use a label printer right away like the one you have, we can print on the avery label stickers with a regular printer. Correct? How do you keep track of the ones on the sheet? How do you avoid sticking the wrong sticker (barcode) on one of your books?

So far this is a great video, but I am still confused how the book info fro the book gets into Inventory lab. You scan, but where does the info go first...like the bar code?

I dont understand what Im doing wrong. I have been selling for 2 weeks and have only sold 4 books. I sell with prime, and have kept my price, initially what amazon said to put it at and am lower priced than some and pretty even with a few others. the price seems right by amazon, books are ranked around 300,000-1M. but they are good like new books and my prices are similar to the others selling on prime. most the books go for around 30 some under 20 and a few 60-90 which also compares close or lower than other prime listers for the same book. please let me know what you think could be the problem, we are working our tails off day and night sourcing, cleaning, listing /labeling and shipping off books almost everyday. and sometimes I wonder why am I killing myself when Im not making a profit. 30 dollars a week isnt going to be enough. everybody else seems to be making profit and some arent even putting in as much hard labor to do it. what could be the problem thank you forgot to mention I am doing it through FBA also forgot to mention my balance is -3 dollars. Ive made nothing because of all the shipping costs etc for about 8 boxes. so even though the book profit was 83 it all went to amazon fees. How am I going to make anything?

Awesome, video Lenny! This helped me finally get my process up and running. I do have one question: Amazon now asks which date you expect to hand your inventory to the carrier... do you simply pick any day mon-sat and hand it to the UPS driver at your front door?

I have watched this a couple of times and others yet I dont hear you say how to hook the scanner up to this so you do not have to automatically enter the numbers. You just say you have a scanner and now your going to scan but how do you attach it? and can you use IOS cell to scan?

Hi, hope all is well. I wrote 500 units per box and Amazon says: The quantity you entered exceeds the accepted limit for units per box. Then I tried 2 boxes with 250 units per box and still it says same thing. Can you help me figuring out how many units per box I am allow to do. it is stencils, they are as skinny as a paper, that is why it does not takes to much space.

What keeps me from moving over to amazon is the shipping to amazon and shelf fees etc. I want to start but I'm not confident about it at the moment. As a beginner with Amazon what product rank in books should I go for. I haven't found any books that are lower than 100,000. Just to add to this comment is that I have about 5000 books all were free. I threw out a bunch of books that are destroyed. Can I sell damaged books that I think are acceptable, or books with writing and highlighting? At what level of condition should I not bother selling books.

You say to sort items prior to scanning, but how is the Condition being pre populated based on scanning ISBN?

Do you place the avery 8160 onto the book? or inside the book? I don't understand because it would ruin the book if I stuck the sticker on the book?

How much is the storage fees Amazon charge just on an average monthly basis. Just wondering if you have around 1000 books in FBA what is total storage cost. Can you please share some detail on this. Thank you

I know you mentioned installing book scanning app on the scouters phone and enabling the hidden feature for not to see all the details. Is that feature password protected ? what if the scouter can enable it to see all the detail. I'm just trying to understand if they can enable that or they won't be able to. New to FBA- quick the dymo label for product SKU width is the same as the Amazon label width? I believe the Amazon address label is 4x6.. Is that the same dimension as the product SKU labels? Do you have to change the reel in the Dymo? Can the DYMO change the width? Or is that a reel change for a smaller label for SKU..Thx
