No Man's Sky - Survival mode gameplay, first few minutes

So yeah, Survival mode is pretty intense Couldn't record in full screen cause Shadowplay wouldn't let me, not even in borderless. Sorry for the resulting lame bordered windows mode.

Simple video showing the convoy chase mechanic of the game. All the elements of the game just merge perfectly together in a coherent and immersive whole. Especially impressed by the dialogue during the reparations, showing restlessness while the convoy is getting away.

Yes, it's for others to create games or prototypes. "Why not create your own game?" > Because making a polished isolated feature like that takes me a couple of weeks. Making a full game would take me a few years :)

You turn a post process material on and off right for these? That's how I do it for my projects but maybe there's a more efficient way

looks cool, but for super man game, the animation shoulx have a lot of weight to them and flight should be much slower and more realistic movement for superman, since other wise the game feels like cartoon adaptation

@@3zzProductions You would need to create your own post process from scratch for that. Once done, the tools lets you add your own post process to the sequence of effects.

Type D is my favourite effect. Type A has the best looking frames in isolation... lots to choose from! Can you set the duration of individual impact frames?
@@chuckleplant Yes! You can compose the frames however you want. Order, duration, frame rate, position, etc

I don't see type D as an impact frame and the impact frame in type A is too early (or maybe I was too strict in the impact frame things😂)
You can put impact frames before the actual hit to build up to it (or not, as you prefer). There are many example of those, but Type A is specifically a My Hero Academia inspired impact Frame: ruclips.net/video/sVjYSvovF9c/видео.html

Oh boy, another post process to turn off in options. Just what i want, more blur on my screen while im pixel hunting for the camper
so lets see if i was writing this shader, i would use a vertex offset. I'd save the vertex position, (like 1.0 second behind or an adjustable amount) You now have 2 vertex positions, with this you could use these 2 data points to get the distance from the movement (this will be a scaler value for how strong the distortion will be) So you could multiply this value by say a random texture to get a bit of distance multiplied by the scalar value and use this to lerp between these 2 points) Thus giving you a vertex distortion like in the video. I have no idea how the guy actually did it but thats my one way someone may go about replicating it, pretty cool op.
