I noticed for me coffee was the worst, I would be fine when I had it every once and a while but inc wi had it and started making it everyday- it was terrible sleep, aggression, feeing like everything has an “edge” to it, very dysphoric and the highs and lows of energy. Going from jitteriness and frantic stressful energy to depressed and fatigued. Man, I switched to tea and the difference is night and day. Pretty much all those negative effects and others I didn’t mention are gone now. Right now I’m at 1-2 cups of tea a day, then I’m going to go to just 1 cup and once I run out, won’t be buying anymore.

Still going, here. A little over two weeks in. I tried quitting cold turkey, but the insomnia was brutal. Tapered way down to a few puffs at 8pm for 4-5 days, now it's been a few days of no weed. Feeling better. I'm determined to quit!

Only reason I'd have to stop smoking would be to have more money to spend, I feel like I don't get munchies like most people do plus it's not making depressed as I've seen in the comments and I feel more motivated when I'm high if anything I'm everywhere physically and emotionally Marijuana keeps me at ease but I will admit I do rely on it too much

I tried tapering off caffeine before, but I caved when I got the headaches. Great idea to eat dark chocolate, it's a way to break the hot beverage ritual while stave off the withdrawals. Also it would be easier to taper off or monitor caffeine with chocolate squares.

i smoked weed for nearly 15 years. Nearly everyday several times a day. I only stopped because i got this weird chest fluttering feeling and it really freaked me out to the point of dropping it all together. I will say i feel more confident. Im not spaced out all the time. I got my finances in order. One thing i miss about it is just spending my day working on a hobby and not giving a damn about anything else. Felt like it made me obsessed with whatever i was doing. Now it just takes more dicipline, which i need.

Thanks for sharing man. That's awesome you finally kicked the habit and have some noticed some huge benefits. Having money in the bank is one of life's greatest feelings. I can relate to that pure 8-12 hour non stop work on hobbies. You might find that long term you're more productive because you're able to put more active focused work instead of only volume. What are some ways you're working to improve your discipline?

Nu weer jaren later is het tegen me gaan keren. Ipv high ben ik low en depressief en eenzaam erdoor geworden en ontzettend gaar, moe en lui en doel en stuurloos. Heeft me in isolement gebracht jaren lang.

Love to Poland. Thanks fro reaching out and sharing your story. Sorry to hear about what happened to your partner. I didn't know weed was more harmful to the lungs than cigarettes. Good vibes on your healing journey. Good you recognize the short term effects of weed in terms of pleasure and that it's not serving you anymore. It was a painful moment when I realize that too, but today my life is so much better. I have faith you'll get there too. Reach out anytime and if you put the work in, I know you can find freedom too.

A drug addict might have needed the drug during their active addiction, as counterproductive and harmful as that sounds. When they get clean they simply don’t need it anymore. Weed was a “giveth then taketh away” sort of thing for me, but I was way past the giveth stage. That’s when I knew. Day 3 and going strong. Thanks for the video.
