Unfortunately i lost a ton of videos from the actual install, so heres an attempt to make it easy and give you an idea what it takes to get this kit on. Got a dual filter set up installed on my duramax today, everything is plug and play and reversible, overall install is super easy (about an hours start to finish). Most f15/f85 bmws that ive seen experience bottom side bolster seat damage. I took my seat by the upholstery shop and had my seat cushion repaired and foam fixed/reinforced. Closest color we were able to match to aragon brown was maserati orange. Overall seat removal is fairly straightforward (step by step in this video), definitely happy with the end result

Something every BMW S63/N63 owner should check maybe once a year, this diaphragm came apart and was causing all kinds of boost problems with my f85 X5M. does this work with halogen projectors from factory? I have a 2015 Sierra 1500.. inch put LED bulbs in but the beam pattern is terrible like these ones.

I want to install the Tesla epb Caliper on my bmw e82. Are you willing to share the mounting bolt spacing? I know it’s around 3.6” but I want an exact measurement to see if I can use existing brackets usually used for hydro brake calipers.
Do you have any information, what is the product number or OEM code or car make of that Driveshaft? I mean that Driveshaft with the longer boron thread. I think I'll buy a similar one for my car. Thanks!!
We build these custom driveshafts, it is usable made, factory shaft part number ends in 866 and is the one with issues that does damage to your transmission/oil pan

Yes, parking brake function is unrelated to this installation, everything works as oem

Do you need to run a 20” wheel for this set up or will a 19” fit? That would counter the rational mass if you had to go up to 20”+
@@BMWBAS you have to run 20” or larger , outer diameter of the tire stays the same per x5 platform (thats steels belts, rubber, ) , you are not gaining or loosing much there , but you are loosing 1lb per front rotor and about 5-6lb per caliper. This upgrade is offered for the ones that already have 20” wheels, please check out my other video with Porsche cayenne retrofit that is made to clear 19” wheels

@@anasmalaika they are oily inside with about 1/4” of substance at the bottom, i havent dumped them but glad this stays in the can and not on the valves/pistons

I am not sure unfortunately. Id say realistically 2-2.5hr labor plus part cost
do you recommend upgrading the rear driveshft to a one piece driveshaft as well?
@@naseerrobinson5848 depending what your end goal is. Rear shafts dont serm to be problematic on these models, but if you looking for a 10 second suv then that would be one of the upgrades for sure. Not from reliability standpoint though

How does the car perform with these Stage 1 turbos? Did it make a difference overall?
More linear/consistent pull throughout rpm range, feels solid. I cant say difference is insane but definitely feels solid
@@Dentprotony Nice! Good to know. Custom tune or just ots? I just sent mine in to have them converted to the Stage 1. The wastegates were rattling and hopefully they send it back with some new actuators.
@@ericbilt25 make sure they replace the wastegates (forgot on mine on first try), i run bpm stage 1 tune
@@Dentprotony Glad to know you’re on a stage 1 flash. You don’t get overboost with the catless dp’s? I’m currently on the stage 1 flash, but haven’t ran it yet with the turbos or catless dp’s.
so the standard wheels fit even though the discs are bigger in diameter.

What's size crush washer did you use from the Amazon kit for the oil feed line? Also where did you get the intake silicone couplers and size?
I used variety pack from amazon, one of them fit well. Silicone is think i got it from intake couplers or silicone couplers.com sprry its been a while, i don’t remember exactly, it was 2.75 dia 3 inch if I remember correctly, but not 100% sure sorry
I've got transfer case whining sounds and the garage found metal shavings in the t-case fluid so I'm in the market for a replacement. I may as well get the driveshaft replaced at the same time. Now let me see if I can find your email address somewhere

looks great but my only concern is that the gaskets on top of the bracket, looks you would need to take apart the whole assembly to change them . is that true and how often do they need to be replaced ? thanks
I dont think these gaskets/orings would go bad, haven’t heard of that yet. Ive since switched to baldwin filters, they flow a little better than cat but still filter finer particles than stock unit. Very happy with the set up 👍
Do you powder coat the Porsche calipers? If so, any testing to ensure fitment/sealing?
They are painted. No sealing/fitment issues in 3+ years
