My school literally copied this entire show in 2012

I went to this school about ten years later, just saying that we try to uphold a standard and even though 2020-2021 wasn't how we expected, we still marched a show. Graduating soon and never happier:)

Thanks for the kind words "Marcus Band mom"! As the parent of one of the drum majors and a partner in the construction of the props, I still carry a lot of pride over what these students did and the level of excellence they pursued! Great memories!!

To those of you asking why we don't place higher, it's because we aren't clean in either marching or playing. And it's not even that hard to accomplish. Most of the time it's because of a lack of focus and lack of basic discipline. I think we'll be able to hone in on that more this year, however.

I was a freshman when I saw this show at Lone Star Preview. I'm a senior now and it still is one of the best shows I've seen.

This is the kind of stuff that really inspired me to start marching band in the first place. Although our band is terribly small (78 including guard) I'm hoping we can perform as well as the people in this show did. Durant '2013!

If they suck, then why are they doing well every year with their shows? They are clearly one of the best 5A marching schools in the State...

Anyone who doesn't know how we won Honor band obviously never actually heard the Symphonic Band perform...

My only problem with this show was the assignment of drill to individuals. There are moments in the show where some individuals are jazz running to sets because of a height disadvantage where a taller person could have made it to the sets more comfortably. I'm not sure of the original intents of the drill writer, whether it is staggered motion to the next set or not. And I have always liked his visual ideas, I just feel that it worked against them visually. Otherwise it was a great show!

Were doing this show in our high school right now, but we have waaaay more movement than they do. It seems like they stop to play a lot

i went to north shore and competed againts them in both Area and State. in my opinion they should have taken 1st that year!

wow i really like this show! every part of it is very entertaining... i wish my band could be this good

If only Mahomet took it this tempo...maybe we'd stand a chance of sweeping the season. The flute feature was absolutely beautiful. At our school, it's just a soloist doing it...and I'm that soloist. I'm super nervous, and wondering if it'll even be heard...I just hope we pull this off like you guys did...

I LOVED preforming this show. This was my favorite show in my three years.
