I would be so appreciated with your answer because this is important. I do have the same model's Intel I5 8GB Ram version and Ryzen 7 16gb Ram version. Same models. I am curious are the pins same because the I5 8GB ram one is %100sRGB and the other one is %45NTSC and it is way much worse than %100sRGB. I am thinking about replacing the screens with each other ? Would it work ? Can I get off the screens without breaking them ?

BLR. Do you use Board view? A fairly new Micro Center has a similar repair / testing / upgrade team, but I don't think they're allowed to perform BLR. This should get an award for the most useless laptop ever made. It takes this tedious process to change a keyboard, yet they don't last. My new HP envy x360 didn't even last for a month, the space continuously presses on its own and gets in the way of me working with the laptop. I can practically do nothing with this laptop once the interference starts. I bought an external keyboard yet it still gets in the way. Keyboard issue is one of the prominent issues with HP and Asus laptops. The best bet is to stay away from HP and Asus laptops. I can't deal with this.

Don't suppose you know the model number of this laptop. Did a 30 > 40 pin non touch to touch screen upgrade but the touchscreen didn't work. (image is fine.) so thinking I need the touchscreen bios.

Think it helps to put some flux on the old solder (after port removal) joints to help with wicking! The number on the old port, is that a reference number or a kind of part number? Great video! Half the work is just removing the Mobo! Do you have a similar video where you reome / replace a USB - C on a Dell laptop mobo?

The old keyboard lasted 2 1/2 years. Suddenly I regret buying this model of computer! I can change the keyboard in my old Thinkpad in about 5 minutes. Ho hum...

I didn't have to remove anything but the screen bezel and the four screws at the bottom. Why did you have to take the back off and the heat sink?

How did you take of the fans from the motors? My are stuck and I will break the aluminium case before I will be able to take them off.
