In high school we would go down to the airport and park at start of runway and watch the planes take off and land. Can’t do that anymore. A fence is there to keep you from watching.

Woo boo! One more month and I’ll be landing in SD for a weekend getaway! It’s been three years since my last visit (dang Covid).

Was it easy to go inside the parking ?
It was easy. You just need to pay 12 dollars after leaving the parking. Or sometimes they only charge you 5 bucks if your there for only 2-3 hours

@@feurzer Yes if they let you enter on foot I’m sure you still have to pay. But I could be wrong

You pay for the top floor. It’s cheaper as well than the other below floors!!

Cool shots but the digital zoomed in shots have terrible quality. Even if it's an Iphone, its still a small phone sensor with a fixed lens.
Yeah I apologize but iPhone zoom quality still isn’t at its best. Samsung does tho since it has more megapixels

The fact that humans built a double decker plane that can circumnavigate half the globe, from Dubai to LA in less than a day, still astounds me.
Why i only can see green screen? Should i watch it on PC?
You should be able to watch on your phone but if you want to watch 4K then maybe your phone doesn’t support the resolution yet

Where exactly is this spot & is there anywhere to park? I've been to the park by in n out burger, but the parking is awful. I like this spot better actually.
Yes there are spots to park and I went Clutter’s Park. It’s also a popular spot here in LAX
@@socalaviation3004 Thanks, I'll have to check that spot out. In n out burger is a cool spot, but parking along the curb is tough & all of the ride-shares park there, so they wait for you to leave. Kind of frustrating... Thanks again! Great coverage!

Great coverage! They all land in that same area, so i wonder how often they have to re-surface it? Any reason why none of the aircraft land before the crosswalk?
It's because of the angle of descent for the planes landing. Area before the "crosswalk" is called a displaced threshold.
That’s a displaced threshold. Aircraft are not allowed to land before it.

The best part is right when you're heading on the 5 and the plane swooshes down from the East or if you see it around Balboa/Harbor going 5 North and wonder if you're going to make to the spot where it will swoosh over you haha.

That parking structure needs better drainage
Was getting gas at that Shell station. Knew I was at the end of the runway. Still had the shit scared out of me as a plane came in landing.

too bad the 747 doesn't fly in there anymore, that was about as interesting as it got at KSAN
Agreed. The 747 was an awesome aircraft
British Airways got rid of all their 747s. Fingers crossed the triple 7 will return someday.

@@socalaviation3004A350 sounds awesome! I've flown on the 777-200, -300, and the 747 to San Diego. A350 would make up for the loss of the 747 (which I enjoyed most of the three).
