Shreya ke contemporaries like sunidhi,neha kakkar,neeti,shilpa rao,monali thakur,jonita,richa sharma,palak muchhal,rekha bhardwaj,alisha koi hai hi nahi...balki sunidhi ko chorr de to baaki ka naam bhi nahi hai us level par.. 90s me jaise alka ji thi almost 70% song me.. I mean tabhi jyada acche contemporary female singer the..like kavita ji,sadhna,ks chitra,anuradha paudwal,kausiki chakrabort(classical) etc 70..80s me waise hi lata n asha ji ka duopoloy tha..baaki females upar nahi aa paaye like noor jehan,p susheela,geeta dutt,s janaki,ms sibbalakshmi(classical)... Abhi to shreya ka monopoly hai commercial success me..shayad ye aur 2040 tak to rahega hi... Kyoki aajkal to itte acche singers reality se aa rahe..lekin life span bahut kam hai...kyoki bahut crowded space ho gaya hai..n purity ke jagah electronic jyada ho gaya hai
