I owe 2020 model in Lariat trim. This truck performs very well. Despite having only four cylinder engine, I tow my boat with no issues ( approx 4,000 lbs). My model definitely lacks a modern infotainment, everything else is still working well after 88,000 km. Glad that Ford updated the interior.

Considering trading my 2019 passport elite for the 2024/2025 pilot trailsport. I have 2 big concerns being that I live in central california. 1. No Vtech. WTH. I love how sporty the passport can be when needed. 2. No ventilated seats. That’s ridiculous for a 50k vehicle.

Do you think it would be wrong or badass to install a GT 500 body kit on a 2020 convertible GT mustang?

I would like to ask if the CX90 can run on battery throughout the night without being automatically shut down. I know that PHEV will charge the battery by restarting the gas engine in a limited manner. Can the headlights be turned off in the night without moving?

First, no rear bench seat. Second, no engine temperature gage on the Pilots except on the upper trims (cheap bastards).

I am baffled no reviewer finds omission of bench seat irritating. Is there really no one who needs 5 people in 2 rows and only the cargo in trunk? The so called captain chairs have tiny arm rests, so why even bother with captain chairs.

A big miss is lack of a bench seat. Many people would want to seat 5 in 2 rows with just the cargo behind them on trails, while also sometimes doing 8 people road trips.

No one ever talks about leaving car in the heat or cold and the adverse affect it has on the battery pack

An excellent review and spot on regarding the need for a rear wash wipe. I am looking forward to mine being delivered next Tuesday, it is just over six months old with less than 200 miles recorded and was a demonstrator at my local dealer in the UK.

I think the back seats fold down for longer objects.

$66,000 for a convertible GT Mustang is ridiculously overpriced IMO. I’ll drive slower and enjoy a $30,000 Miata! Or I guess I could spend $40 on the Ecoboost Mustang… no thanks, that’s too high!

Great review. It’s a beautiful car, but you get GX for the price of LX. If you are mostly city dueler, TX makes little more sense.

I have just drove an hired Mustang down from Miami to Key West ( Through a rain storm ) and you are right.. the soft top keeps you dry and no whistling! My sort of car although and I confess I am an English tourist and an Engineer to boot I must say I was shocked “ is that a four cylinder engine”…( 😮😳) .. When I arrived in Key West I popped the bonnet (hood) 😂.. and it is indeed a four pot!…but it pulls very well! I drive a classic in Summer at home, a long demised British equivalent to the Mustang in many ways The Triumph Stag which was not a success.. In fact The Company that Triumph was amalgamated into in 1968 was a disaster… The Stag was 90% developed when launched and the last 10% was the engine development…Which sunk the engine, the car, Triumph motors and ultimately British Leyland itself… The only surviving mark is Range Rover which came out the same year as the Stag ironically which Leyland Motors bought (Rover motors) to sit alongside Triumph one year prior to the fateful merger ( 1967) But in hindsight it was quality control more than under development and now we drive restored versions ( 50% survival 50 years later) My point is the mustang is what a modern Stag probably would have been if it had survived…It is similar believe it or not. So Kudos to Ford motors producing such a pleasing drivable beautiful motor! 😘 For those interested I will post a link

Great review. Trying to understand the key differences between the 2024 Trd sport and 2024 SR5. What I’m finding is suspension is better on the sport but I cant tell how significant. Any insight on this or other key differences?

You are wrong with 0-60 times. A GT coupe with 10 speed auto is 3.8-3.9 seconds.
