“The Greats” is an archetype I never really thought of! I think all Full Packages can fit into the Greats category, but not all Greats can fit into the Full Package category. “Powerhouse” is a good alternative name for this category as well!

I would put Beyoncé into The Greats and switch Jhene to Artist. I don't remember where you put Rihanna, but I'd place her under Full Package (even though she isn't the strongest dancer) and Lastly, I'd place Pink under Full Package. This was a nice assessment and a fun watch!

The footage you showed of actresses as young girls played in sexualized roles was upsetting. I don't feel like crying anymore when I see that, now I can't wait to watch the world thay created it be destroyed. Another good point about Britney as a primarily dance oriented Entertainer, once she started having injuries she just couldn't maintain the same pace she had previously. I really think that knee injury when she was filming the outrageous music video was the beginning of the end unfortunately. It sucks cuz she could have been a legacy artist that lasted if her record label and management had just let her sing. Her debut album had so many songs that are still bangers and a lot of it is because of her soulful delivery.

Maybe stay away from these kinds of videos. It’s honestly a mess. The title “why pop stars fail” is not even the focus. The fact that “full package” is in the third position and not the last position makes zero sense and only highlights your bias towards vocalists who “don’t need anything else.” It’s also an example of how truly multifaceted artists/performers/visionaries like Beyonce and lady Gaga are actually underrated as vocalists. The entertainment factor tends to eclipse their vocal abilities. They make it look easy, when in reality, most of these pop stars and the majority of those in your “greats” category could not sing at the same calibre. Constructive feedback, If you’re going to make this kind of video, treat it like an essay. Ask yourself, What’s my thesis? Does the body support my thesis? Does my conclusion prove/answer my thesis? There are plenty of male celebrities considered “handsome” or the ultimate dream guy (like BTS, for example), and they have huge fanbases made up mostly of girls, yet, despite that, they’re still recognized for their talent without having to suffer through the same pressures.

i think the reality boils down to a few factors 1) most actors are mid 2) hotness gets you in, talent keeps you there 3) people need to accept hollywood is a 15 minutes of fame business, you aren't entitled to be at the top forever just because you need to understand these things and accept what you sign up for

I nvr like justin since early day of nsync. I was one of bsb fans and when nsync first come out i was in hs. Me n my bff, we all cheering on it since we all bsb fans n listen to few other boyband. We all enjoy both group songs (well nsync only have 2 popular song at that time while bsb already on their 2nd album) But then in 1 of interview bsb mention about how their management start using bsb fans to promote nsync by putting nsync perform after bsb show to pick up leftover fans. This is the same management that suppost to manage bsb and i was frowning upon it. But then when both group finally break to america market, they stop promoting to the world n solely focus on america. i start to saw a pattern where people start to comparing them both like i need to pick team. I was annoyed but i dont hate nsync (they not as big as bsb n lots of uk boyband worldwide but they still consider popular) as i support them all altho my fav will always be bsb. It was until i saw one interview with nsync where they make fun of bsb since they now popular on america i start to dislike the band attitude mostly justin coz he is the loudest during the trashtalk.1 of main reason im not really big fans of nsync coz how the group always centre on jt compare to bsb who more function as group on whole despite having a popular member. Also coz i prefer bsb members vocals. Then media keep going frenzy on jt like everywhere people focusing on justin since he dating britney coz britney news been dominating market for years. His behavior n attitude somehow always dont sit right to me. Each time i listen to his interview the vibe im getting is sorta like this dude is fake n narcistic. For my take..I prolly would of called 'The Greats' category as 'The Singers'..i would of put Billie under 'The Artist' instead of 'The Full Package'..

Visually, I always loved the imaginative popstar: colorful costumes, vivid imagery, stars like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Modern pop stars like Billie, Taylor, Olivia, and Ariana, while they make fun videos, aren't quite the same, with Ariana and Taylor feeling glamorous while Olivia and Billie feel more casual.

Beyonce and Lady Gaga not being in The Greats is crazy considering they can easily sing circles around some of the people you listed in that section. There vocal range, control and flexiblity are leagues ahead of most of the industry. Beyonce and Gaga choose to present as a full package becasue they can but they can easily just stand with a mic and sing and would be equally praised for their pure vocal talent.

seems like you cherrypicked the examples since i can think of at least one or two movies that were targeted torwards women this year. but they maybe didn't make it as far because women didn't show up to watch them. if movies targeted torwards women were so profitable, capitalism would have made them. heck, they they don't even require a special effects team. but yeah, lets destroy male oriented franchisez by sticking a chick in the lead role and than not allow her to have any flaws because that would offend the women. i mean we will get 50% female viewership. never mind thats still a lot less women when the movie is a total flop compared to the movie of the same franchize that was literally the biggest success in the history of cinema. as for the world mocking teenage fans: the world dumps on most male dominated hobbies, specially ones that don't require being in shape or having social skills(you know, coz god forbid men who aren't fit and charming have something to do in life, we will just generalise the entire community as losers the moment they show up to do something). oh and god forbid something a man likes might potentially be based in finding an artist attractive(even when it isn't. the artist is attractive and some guys even dared compliment her or repost a photo to promote her and that is enough evidence) and the artist herself will come out crying about how them being sexy(in both apperance and actions) on a stage/camera(aka something only people who find women attractive can really precieve) is not there for men to appreciate(and i am not talking about artists who targer queer women). meanwhile, girls will be sleeazy as hell torwards a male artist that isn't really displaying much skill or talent(coz u know, those things will actually get you a male audience regardless of what you are signing about) and god forbid anyone says they are only paying attention to the guy coz he is hot or the male artist himself calls them out on being creepy.
