UK based Muslim cat owner here. I would be very interested in this, but would consider the ingredients with as much scrutiny as any other cat food. Whilst options for halal cat food have not been available, I always buy halal meat if preparing meals for my two at home and I never give my cats pork. But this takes things to another level. If it is Truly what Halal historically should be (organic, clean, locally sourced) then yes, customer here.

You are not going to get any premium dog food in Walmart, just as you won't find any in Tesco etc in the UK. These companies (eg. Orijen) want to keep their prices high and the supermarkets are not interested in bags of dog food costing £100

0:01 0:01 0:01 I got a puppy in September 8 weeks old, after losing my 12 year old boxer to CKd. So the breeder had her on 0:01 purina puppy chow which too me is garbage. I switched her to Origen puppy and thus far has been doing really good . Can you do a review of Origen puppy sometime? Alot of people keep saying Origen is trash now since the buyout from Mars. I think offal is the best thing for cats as long as you are sure it has the right amounts of taurine etc. I can't be done with all the lies big Pharma and cat food manufacturers sell us. The pharmaceutical industry and the food industry are the two biggest causes of ill health these days. The amount of iatrogenic damage done by Big Pharma and vets and the medical profession would give the man in the street nightmares if he researched it.

librela worked for our lab until it didn't. i think she's dying now..maybe because of librela. she had 4 doses.

my dog is passing away right now...had 4 librela injections. did give her a boost in energy at first but now her legs are failing. ataxia, unusual eye movements, can't keep food down, restless...sad

It is sad that the VETs are not beeing able t explain to us pros and cons of a medicine in order we could decide the best. As you say, we want the best fr our animals and when we see an add we will enquire at the vet thinking of this kind of drug as a new and funcional solution and the vets will say "yes" before explaining. For instance: I have an allergy prone dog and was recommended from a specialist "Cyclavance" from Vribac, extremly expensive 2-monts treatment and my dog was not beeing able to sleep well for 2 months. Not just that, it did not help with allergy at ALL. Sometimes I don't know where to look for the solution - sometimes it seems that I am the one who needs to recommend the VET the solutons (after a thorough investigation) instead the other way around.

I am lucky to have a vet that isn't technically allowed to reccomend certain foods; but she will say "in my opinion..." and will suggest high quality foods/raw. She is also very much, when appopriate, herbal/lesser chemicals first. I always request this vet now for medical issues, also because I feel like she actually listens/understands and she always asks about my pets quirks etc and it actually feels genuine.

Hi Since watching your videos I want to make a change to my dogs food so he's eating less carb ingredients. But concerned the meat content might be too much for him (reson below) Hes a active shih tzu He was at the vets while on butternut box for paw chewing and itching, vet listened to his stomach and said it was gassy and the food was too rich, would this likely have been the case? Worried it that was giving him stomach problems then a higher meat content would too. We moved him onto burns wet and sensitive kibble and noticed there was a LOT of brown rice in the wet food. Since starting this food he smells like smelly feet which could be from licking or yeast. The paw chewing didn't stop when we stopped butternut it continued into burns but with the addition of the smell. He is intolerant to chicken and beef (elimination diet where the itching stopped for a while but came back plush paw chewing). Butternut box was grain free and we gave him turkey or beef wet. Burns has grains and we gave him turkey and lamb wet and pork kibble. We are now on years pork and fish grain free but I think this food is too human? The paw chewing has continued! The only link between them is the turkey from butternut and burns. The pork between burns and years but surely he can't be intollerant to 4 proteins?! Any ideas what to feed or what could be causing the paw licking and scratching? We have pinpointed chicken as a problem but can't work out what else. He has no environmental allergies and has had an xray and checks to see if there was another source of pain causing the paw licking (thought it was maybe self soothing). He does get acid reflux but I think this is linked to stress rather than food as it happened after vets, groomers etc Any help on the right food would be appreciated!

My 13 year old dog received his 3rd Librela injection Sept 30th. He walked an hour Friday morning but only a short walk Saturday morning. A few hours later, he was circling attempting to lay down and finally collapsing his hind end to the floor. I immediately called his vet and it was suggested to take him to the animal hospital. My dog has been battling different cancers the last two years, has had treatments and is doing well. I took him to the hospital which has access to his medical history. The doctor noticed a bit of a stiff gait with his back legs and diagnosed that it was cruciate issues and this was why he was having issues with his hind end. I took him home and the next morning had vomited some peanut butter that I gave to him in his Kong. He was still having issues with is back end but was still drinking and eating. He was scheduled for his 6 month check up which involved a full examination, blood work, ultrasound and needle aspiration of his liver and spleen the next day, so I waited until the morning. The results of his visit was positive, everything still looking good and the issue with his hind end was because the cruciate issue. The next day, he began breathing very heavy and was lethargic. I counted 60 breaths in one minute but was under the impression he may be in pain. He was given a pain killer. My dog is not willing or able to walk. I am now carrying him outside to urinate, he will stand to urinate but is very weak and carried back into the house. I make an appointment at a rehabilitation center to address his cruciate issues because I have been told that this is his issue. By the way, I did mention to several doctors at this point that he was given Librela and all of these issues occurred after it but no one would listen to me. I didn't know what to think, was it Librela or his cruciate issue. The following morning, my dog was still drinking, a little bit of peanut butter but that was it. I carried him outside to pee and while he was standing and I was supporting his back end, he fell over on to his side while continuing to urinate. I called the rehabilitation center to ask if this behavior was typical of a cruciate tear and was told no it was not. I also called his local vet who told me to take him back to the emergency hospital that he had been too the previous Saturday. His cancer doctor called during all of this to stress how important it was to have this therapy done on his ligament, she did not think there was anything serious wrong, after all his tests came back positive. I took him to hospital and was carried in on a stretcher, waited 3 hours and was told nothing was wrong, he was just weak and tired from everything he had endured and also mentioned the ligament issue. I took him back home that evening, carrying him back into the house. That evening, I was checking on him several times, he was laying staring into space. The next morning, is when he really deteriorated, would not eat, minimal water and could barely lift his head. I brought him to his local vet, she first commented that his breath smelled. She did a test pressing his paws to see if he would react and he wasn't. A blood test was done, he had a fever and elevated white blood cells and there was edema in his front leg. She assumed that his cancer had metastasized to his brain and spinal cord hence the non reaction with his paws. I was advised to take him to an emergency hospital, so I did. When I arrived at the hospital the next morning, I was told he was sepsis, he had low blood pressure and there was a 50/50 chance of survival. He was given two different intravenous antibiotics and blood pressure medication. My dog did not recover his kidneys failed and was euthanized on Oct 6th. I have spoken to his cancer doctor since and she still is puzzled why this happened. A post mortem is being performed but what I am hearing is it is very difficult Librela as being the cause of death.

Why then did my vet immediately tell me to give my dog white rice and white chicken when he was diagnosed?

I wish more people knew that a dog with stinky farts is a sign of GI discomfort and isn't healthy. Most people think it's normal or just their dogs "trait".

Also you should highlight how these big pet food brands are swallowing up Vet practices as well as smaller Pet food brands. Mars International for example. Lillys kitchen was bought out by one of these giants. People sell their soul to the devil all the time. 90% of all Pet Food is owned by just 7 companies/conglomerates. It is a big bucks business.
