Might be an unpopular opinion, but I massively preferred the old CGI-style of cars racing over this art style they have.. especially since they are overexaggerating the car's movements (take 0:33 for instance... it looks like as if there's an invisible giant kid above holding the car with fingertips and 'cinematically' twisting it around before the corner... this is literally how I made the mini-toy cars move when I played with them as a kid). In the old CGI versions, car's movements and acceleration out of corners, weight-shifting looked way more realistic than this.

The ae86 was 10 years old in initial D, and they still said it was an outdated trash. If we take into account that mf ghost is happening around 2030, the rx-7 is 30 year old in mf ghost, so it's normal that they also says the rx-7 is an outdated trash.
