Thank you for sharing this. I had not thought about donating to another’s packing party. Such a great idea. Bu I did get lots of leftovers boxed up for filler items this year! I’m excited to be able to send lots of filler items! I always send leftover items for filler, but don’t usually have a lot to send. This year, because I determined to make pencil packs, and we had a lot of left over items, thanks to some wonderful donors, we have filled three medium size boxes with lots of filler items!

I was recently at a juried art/craft show where there were two booths selling crocheted animals. They were selling for well over $20 for little ones. Your daughter is very talented and gracious to share her talent with so many children through your boxes.

Beautiful shoeboxes - wow! The sports stuffies are really cute! You did a great job of using one theme for the different age groups - each one is different and special. The baseball box was my favorite - I love the baseball stuffie and the baseball mit you included was wonderful too. I'm what i call myslelf a filler smuggler. Every year i bring a bag of little extras like mini pop its, fidget toys, bouncy balls, etc small things that can always fit in somewhere. And i bring this bag to the back of the church were they have all the boxes and i take a bunch of them and add at least one extra little thing to the box, depending on how "good" the box already is and how much space is left. Even just a little extra joy means a lot to them.

When we decided to do a 10-14 box, menstrual products was the first thing that came to mind because I often hear about how girls in some countries don’t have any sanitary protection available which is really sad.

Seems kind of young for 10-14? I'm trying to pack older kid boxes too, and iirc, I stopped playing with dolls and cutesy stuff by 10-11. And my husband says hard no on plushies for boys.

Really enjoyed this video. Your boxes will be so nice. Just fyi… balloons only have a shelf life of 6-12 months. I worked closely with a balloon vendor for many years. Just looked it up online to confirm my memory. Punch balls are a lot of fun and my children enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing your packing party videos.
