Use E85 $2.99 a gallon. My Ram 3.8 pings even with E85 but has a lot more power. Gas mileage is very bad per computer 12 mpg. On regular it did 17 mpg. The Pentastar is notorious for valve ping and then rocker destruction needing the heads to be rebuilt.

I have a '22 Ram Rebel Hemi, 3.92. I recently took a 6000 round trip out west sightseeing and camping in Idaho. I burn 89 or 91 octane all the time. During the trip, no exaggeration, I averaged 18.6 MPG! I'm getting 15-18MPG around town. I'm not an aggressive driver but do get on it from time to time. Another thing I noticed, out west, most of the gas is ethanol free. I ran Sinclair 91 octane. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. Bill from Linglestown Pennsylvania

I ordered the 23 & when it finally arrived, I drove 3 hours to Oklahoma to get it but only to be disappointed . No Hellcat logos on the seats , no spare tire & vinyl headliner instead of suede so I decided to keep my 21 . And this was an order at msrp with no markups ! My salesman liked mine better because of the Hellcat logos & yes I drove to Oklahoma from Texas & did a side by side comparison. As far as the original 2021 owners , we will be able to tell immediately when we see the 23 models by just looking at the seats 😂💯. Love my 21 & I also ordered my 21 at msrp btw

To be honest, I’m new to this whole Dodge thing. I’m a Mercedes guy usually but about three months ago I put in Google what is the fastest SUV in Dodge Durango hellcat popped up. Then it also popped up it was only made for 2021 and 2023 in the peaked my interest. I made an appointment April 4 to talk to a Dodge dealer and that day I went to four of them found basically the one I configured and printed it up & bought it. I was preparing to put an order in to hopefully get one around my birthday in August for my 50th but I found a dealer who just received one the night before. It wasn’t even cleaned yet still had all the stickers on it and they gave it to me for 8000 over MSRP, the other three dealers I went to that they did not even have them in stock and they range from 25,000 over to 15,000 over so 8000 over I was a static, plus I literally went April 4 in the morning went to the Ford dealers and by 8 o’clock that night it was in my driveway Now I get to enjoy it all summer instead of hoping mine came in because I hear all these horror stories about orders. Also people offering more than what somebody paid and they’re taking orders etc.. They had my color and basically everything I wanted if you go to my RUclips channel, you will see it and I will be posting more videos, June 26. It goes into a shop for about a month to have some work done. Better system some minor motor upgrades that will not void the warranty. Some minor changes on the inside and outside but if you follow my RUclips you could come along for the ride. I’m also open For any suggestions maybe somebody I’ll have a better idea for a new idea. I did not think of at the very least I get to hear what other people would do.
