Not sure but I recall a Johnny A. playing with Ronnie Stewart in a band called Rush (no, not that Rush!) at Saugus High School in the early 70's.

This is not even the the real JOHNNY A!! I saw his original band, “ THE STREETS at least 75 times all over the place. Boston, Cambridge etc…. His Band, THE STREETS WERE THE MOST TALENTED MUSICIANS AROUND!!! You want to hear 👂 AMAZING SONGS? He once told me that all that old music 🎼 was locked 🔒 up in the vaults! Totally Ridiculous! Get him to RECORD that music! It will BLOW YOUR UP HEAD!!! Comin JOHNNY ! Put that music out for your real FANS!!!!!!

Said once he skipped having a singer because...well singers kinda command attention, etc...that instrumentalists do not require. Such a respectful way to word his reply. Love just hearing the instrumets...they can play without having to explosive solos, etc...
