Zeppelin - Moby Dick Jam Using Tonex Amalgam Capture
This is a Led Zeppelin Moby Dick jam starting with the main song and then going into a Drop D jam. All tones are from a Tonex with an Amalgam Marshall capture being pushed by a Browne Amplification Protein. Performed live in my studio all in one take.

This is a quick demo of my SG loaded with Lindy Fralin humbucker P90’s. Running into a Wampler Gearbox and my Fender 68 Reissue Vibrolux Reverb amp. Here’s a quick drop D blues jam with my Les Paul running into a Fulltone OCD into a Marshall DSL40CR. I have the Crunch channel set pretty clean and I’m driving it with the OCD. Nice one! How does the Gearbox do at lower gain Marshall type tones? With the Strat, can it get Hendrixy?
Thanks! It has a nice range of gain that is better than the Wampler Pinnacle. It can get into lower Marshall gain territory but I don't think that is it's greatest strength. It can do it but there are better pedals out there for that.
@@KyleLaulo Thanks! I’m mainly looking for something that can cover a lot of ground, from lower gain Marshall Hendrix style stuff, to EVH to slightly higher gain. So far this one has seemed to stand out in the videos I’ve seen so far. I’m not expecting it to totally nail every tone, but just get passable tones.

Thank you for this. I am going to buy Jetstream and I am currently deciding which pickups will fit my needs (RB or HA5). I was worried that RBs would not fit since I am looking for a more "rock" sound but this video proved that they can sound great with distortion. I have Buckshot with HA5 at the neck position and I think that it does not sound good with distortion so that`s what I am worried about.
Glad you found it helpful! These RB pickups are actually more modern sounding than vintage and the bridge pickup is pretty high output. In fact I'm selling this guitar because I prefer more PAF type output. Not that the RB's are crazy high output, just more than I prefer.
I think the TV Classics are their best. And the 5420 is probably better built than the 6120 from my experience.
Yes the TVJ Classics are great and can cover a lot of ground. I'm amazed at the quality and value of the 5420 and I agree it's near the same quality as the 6000 series but owners of those guitars are offended when I say that!!! LoL

Nice Demo Man ! For many years my main Dirt pedal was a Mesa Boogie V twin Pedal, Now I have the Wampler Gear Box and an Ethos TWE-1 which is very similar to teh Gearbox. I still prefer the Gearbox for the thicker soundis .

Hold on. How did you record? Do you have a plugin for phone? This sounds great! My 5420 with tv jones classics sounds way darker than yours and I’ve tried everything to make it shimmer like yours!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yes, this is just recorded live in the room with my Samsung phone. To my ears, the TV Jones pickups in this guitar are not dark. They are very chimey with the classic Filtertron tone.

Guitar is a Tribute SG and pickups are Fralin Humbucker sized P90's. Not, the noiseless models.
Dumonde for me has been one of the worst lubes I've used. Sticky gunky mess. I agree Muc Off is useless
