Porsche Boxster 986 to Rustival - September 2024
After some fettling, I drive the Porsche Boxster to the British Motor Museum at Gaylon, to attend the second Rustival event of 2024.
There’s a walk around at the show, and a catch up on progress with the Boxster since the last video.

The Nippa was on duty again, this time heading to the Romney Retros breakfast meet in Dungeness, Kent. A monthly event through most of the year, breakfast is served next to the beach at The Pilot Inn. It’s worth the trip just for the food, but there’s always a great and truly eclectic car selection and friendly people.

Lovely car, I just got one very similar spec to yours s - schmess! keep er above 4k anbd you 'need' no faster car on public roads. May i just say, you hear that clunck over rough surfaces - that is not normal nor must you suffer through it as a 'porsche' thing. its time to refresh your lower control arm (coffin) bits and/or various suspension bushings, will make a world of difence and erase that clunk ; transform it into a damn plesant tightness that you get from factory. Had the same issue on my 996 911 years back - will be the first job i do on this current strippper 986 boxster. 'hairdressers car', my left foot. For those who know.. there is, no substistute. ;) Enjoy her in good health and great vid

A superb motor! I was amazed by the wonderful feedback from the steering. Modern cars just don't tell you how they're feeling when on the road. You're spot on re. the light warning buzzer, I had a good neighbour who saved me from numerous flat batteries. I wish I'd never sold mine TBF, it was a little pearl. I've got an '04 Kelisa with 108K on it, £200 well spent. It still gets c.54mpg on mixed driving, but more importantly, makes me grin when I get in. Your Nippa is a little jewel - I'm very impressed!
