I understand what you mean; taxes are a hard topic to talk about because you don’t want to ever put someone’s taxes on yourself by sharing information that could be potentially wrong. A good rule of thumb would be to ask an accountant, but you can usually find everything with a google search

No that’s what I talked about in the video, you can just put it on a stand and rapid fire run auctions; by the time I would’ve found a listing to try to post a card I’ve already sold it

I promote them on my RUclips :) but I don’t use the promotion features on whatnot unless they do a special event and they give it for free :)

There’s definitely some really great and amazing content creators for the grading scene. I hadn’t heard of that particular RUclipsr yet, but I’ll have to try to check them out forsure :)

Yea I might try out the separating them I didn’t really have the time to do it this time and I feel like they’d just end up getting mixed together with people looking through them as time goes on

I usually see signage that will request that people keep the cards in their perspective sport bin. I do not have personal experience as a seller though, so I don't know if people actually read the signs or not. Also, selling TCG cards will be difficult at a sports card show, you usually need to sell that type of thing at a collect-a-con event where you will have a lot more customers looking for TCG but sports card sales won't be as good.

@RainStryke yea this one was definitely advertised as an all inclusive card show with tcg being a focus as well, I had like 2 Pokémon cards but didn’t sell either, but also probably weren’t the most popular and common ones everyone was looking for. It was the nurse Jenny and James from team rocket cool stickers graded

Chairs hurt the dealer because the people usually sitting in them, have no issue wafting through a dime box for 3 hours spending just $15. This takes up space and blocks other people from shopping at the table who might have spent more.

@@prospectsrus282 interesting take. Hard to put a value on what could have been… cause things could also go the other direction too… like the potential customers might search through faster while standing and drop/damage the cards.

Yea I’m totally okay with giving him a deal on that card, I’ve enjoyed the card and I want to upgrade to a bigger singular marshawn lynch card, and in the future I want to move to the city of the card shop he works at. I’m building relationships with them beforehand so that I can easily source and get bigger and better deals, and then be able to get cooler and cooler cards for my own pc also. And no im not going to start those cards at $2. Just because they say rookie doesn’t mean anything?!?! I grab cards that are unique and cards that i think I can sell for a profit. If I lose on the occasional card.. who cares. And what did you really gain out of commenting these things, you clearly don’t know half the thought process behind why I do certain things and do certain deals. Everything you put out into the world will come back 10 fold if you believe it to be.

Patches are automatically short printed cards, way less common than a lot of the parallels you would probably rather replace them with and then also at the same time more affordable for the every day person. What’s wrong with your mindset and why do you care whatever it is that I do?

The crown royale base cards are all die-cuts. It’s not the standard cut of a card thus called a die-cut. Obviously not special in the particular set, but still a die-cut base card.

@@rufrydrmw because we were trying to get a deal done and he wanted to know if we could get a deal done or if I wasn’t going to be able to. I told him we should start probably figuring out numbers or something of the sort, or he said it but I was thinking the same thing because I was done looking through. If it was someone I didn’t already know or think of otherwise I would’ve not said anything about it forsure. It’s someone I know that the other dealers that I know and that like me would know him so I wasn’t worried of anything of that sort. But yes I am cautious.

Yea most of this was just showcase stuff; a good portion didn’t make it into there but not many people looked through the value bins regardless. Honestly like 5 cards or so were bought from the 25 cent and 50 cent bins; the $2 and up bins were definitely the best for me. I’ll sort them forsure if I ever do another show. Just didn’t have enough time to do everything I wanted to

1.) I didn’t get that on video footage 2.) the audio would’ve been 99%+ of just loud card show noises 3.) the dialogue was literally what I shared via the voiceover.. he said I might have to get more cash i said how much more cash are you even thinking and then I just started taking out cards from there. I even put in a part of audio with voice changer and said the introduction to how I had gotten to the situation being that he pulled me aside and told me I had to go through his boxes. Literally saved you 2 hours by condensing the situation that was dumb into 18 minutes or so.

I’m pretty sure that the only actual dialogue I recorded between me and the vendor was even shared in the video 😂😂 I think he might’ve also said “imma move you over here right quick” or something of those sorts and that’s how I moved from being on his glass showcase to the table behind his table 🫠. Those would be the only 2 sentences I’m gusssing I even have of this vendor and my dialogue. And trust me it would’ve just been a disservice to upload the actual dialogue regardless of if I had it or not. Would’ve wasted so much time; I grabbed like 1/5th of the cards I originally picked out, and didn’t even record me going through the 3rd and final box let alone even trying to figure out the deal because of how terrible it actually was.

Love their videos, haven’t seen any RJCmedia videos yet I don’t think I’ll have to check them out

They are being neglected and I’m building something that is always going to be sustainable; if the higher end $ market crashes tomorrow, then I could come in and potentially buy the better and better cards to run and then already have my own platform to sell and offload and if I just continue doing low end cards I’ve already found good processes and have the knowledge to actually buy quality inventory

I definitely recommend card ladder since it actually shows comps that are older than 3 months; what I did to get my subscription was I purchased the highest tier for the psa subscription in order to submit to their monthly specials and get a little bit of a discount when submitting via their standard programs as well :) the card ladder subscription came free and you get quite a bit of other perks as well

Definitely gonna be making quite a bit of videos about it :) excited to see how it goes first within 100 miles of me so I’m hoping it goes decently

Oh yes most definitely going to be keeping a tally :) and recording videos to upload for it also (hopefully barring no major setbacks 😅😅) but always gotta keep a tally when applicable for tax reasons anyways regardless of doing the videos :)

Oh yea most definitely that’s why I really love that content creator and the way that they actually do their videos :) they execute exactly what you’re saying in a very educating, entertaining, and engaging way. Just one thing I’m trying to strive to be more towards, doing the same type of content just more engaging, entertaining, and definitely educating more and more about what cards to look out for and potentially the idea of selling too late or when to sell also, since video games are a more consistent market :)

@@willmahon1953 definitely not impossible 😅 only reason why my shipping time says 1 day is because I ran out of shipping labels and then thus was very fair behind on shipping. Most of the rest of the times I ship everything out next day :) it’s about 60-70 or so packages but I just end up packaging them up directly after I end my stream

Anything $20 and under I do eBay Standard Envelope and anything above $20 I use ground advantage shipping. All with calculated shipping for the buyer to pay. Hopefully that helps

@@ruffasportscards I really appreciate you answering man. I did like the x.8 example you gave I use something similar. Do you include what you’ll have to pay in shipping when you buy a card?

@Srednas1217 uhmmm if you mean as in like oh I’m gonna have to pay $5 or $50 in shipping so I can only do x amount, I typically don’t. I feel like a lot of the time for me even on a $2.75 card sale with the ese shipping I end up netting around $1.96; 99%+ of my inventory as of now I end up doing bulk deals for or if there is just way too good of a deal so for me I don’t need to worry about the shipping cost.

Yea it’s a gamble, not for me anymore. Unless if I’m trying to get potential grade candidates but even then haven’t done a break in many many many months now

😂😂😂 I don’t think a grown man who is in his 30s+ is going to learn by me wasting 2 hours and not getting anything out of it. He had cards valued at $10,000+ he wouldn’t have lost a single thought if I just walked away. Me working a deal out for what I could was me at least trying my best to get something out of precious time I used.

I still lose money on some cards; you definitely lose money when you jump into it and start everything at $1, it’s inevitable. One of the things I want to offer in the future is a guidance program for those who want to grow a whatnot, so im hesitant to give much advice or support in people’s endeavors as of now. I had someone I talked to at a card show a long time ago use everything I talked to them about and then they started selling 1 hour directly after my streams with the information I shared with them so I’ve decided it would be best to actually just keep my know how and information I share to a minimum so that I don’t have more bad apples trying to impede and negatively impact my own shows.

I will say this tho.. I drop tid bits and information every now and then in my videos.. so the more and more content you actually watch of mine, the more and more you’ll pick up on over time. I don’t gatekeep information completely from those who watch and listen to my videos. I do that by design, the longer, more often, and repeat views that viewers give it then thus helps the algorithm want to promote my channel more. So I drop random knowledge every now and then in my videos.. but I won’t ever just drop a video all about my knowledge on how to start a whatnot unless it’s for my program.

Glad you enjoyed the video :) definitely trying to gather up some more potential grade candidates for another submission, it does take a lot of time for me to actually get gradable cards, Im starting to be more and more picky about what I choose to grade also so don’t really just wanna fill it with random stuff
