I switch from Bmpcc 6k to Sony fx30, for auto focus and the weight. Bmpcc is too limitated😢

Very informative! I have the a7siii and A7iv ... I really want a Sony cine style camera but keep getting mixed feelings on the fx30 with the noise issue ... fx30 is on sale for 1600 right and the FX3 is 3800! Decisions !! Dang 😂

This looks good what are your go to lenses for the Fx30.
First you should apply the Leeming LUT Pro: best corrective LUT in the business (for us mortals, that is). Then play with the "cinematic look". I seriously doubt you have a pro calibrated monitor that's why you need basic color corection.

Hey great video and grading, your footage looks fantastic and its the look im going for clean yet filmic. Could you please do a video on shooting/exposing with slog3 as no matter what I do, I get lots of grain/noise in the darks. Ive watched toned of videos and have copied, I'm over exposing +1.7 to +2.0 and yet still getting noise. I too have the Phantom Luts but im hesitant to shoot in slog3 as I just can stop getting noise. I using zebras and MM to monitor exposure. perhaps you could let me know your zebra setting and any other techniques you use, thanks

So for this, we just had him rehearse what he was gonna say, but usually, I would instruct them to adjust their posture and project their voice when answering questions.

Yea, you can absolutely use these for the a7iv as long as you buy the a7siii pack.
good workflow bro, looks amazing, but and if you have any drone footage in between? what's the workflow to match DJI D Log? thanks
Is the grain bad at 4k 60? Im looking at buying this camera for sports/ documentary etc. It would be my first cine camera and im looking for something around the 2k price point
Not to me personally, I would get a denoiser just in case though.

Photography & still shoot 4k60.. Had to get tht.. Still gonna mess with the FX30 though.. I'll get it fresh for the Autumn season out here in NYC... Keep up the dope content 'G..

Hey... I have a question if you use adobe for post processing... I just got a fx30 a few weeks ago & was introduced to the feature "auto detect log" that works for SLOG footage... every time I import my log footage in adobe its slog and very much so still looks SLOG.. but in properties it reads out to me as a REC.709 clip (not auto bringing me into rec.709 as the feature is being promoted) The only way to quickly get it out of log is to interoperate the footage and bypass it over to slog3... I can't help but think something is wrong with my fx settings wise although I can't think of a reason... ive tried regular slog3...slog3 with cine... I've went into picture profile 1 and set them as logs outside of the traditional log screen... nothing I do seems to work & I can't for the life of me understand why... I'm praying someone can help me understand what's going on to a certain extent because its driving me nuts thinking something is either wrong with adobe or my fx30...

How do you mean? Like when you export? My S-Log 3 has no changes to it that I notice.
Did you use any lens filters?
I only used my freewell ND filter.
