Looks like the 90s. Reminds me of my aunt's beauty salon, same chairs and aesthetic. Only thing missing is black shiny capes and women smoking casually as a hairdresser cuts or curls away . I have even had my haircut there before while the hairdresser herself smoked. Something very sexy about women caped up with a head full of foils and a white cigarette in her slim fingers.
Back when hairdressers cut hair !!! You walked into a salon with your nice long hair and you left it on the salon floor where it belongs !!!! Stylist were not afraid to take u right up over the ears !! Now a girl gets 2" cut off and she thinks she got a short haircut !!!! So boring to be a hairdresser today !!!
the decline in ability is also really astonishing. I see some women walk out of a salon now with cuts that look like they did it themselves with garden shears
@@misterhair66 That's true ! can give a perfectly graduated wedge . And there are really good hairdressers out there, there were always plenty who were slobs, just a job. You should have a clue when the stylist about to cut your hair just rolled out of bed, stuffed her hair up in a Granny bun !!!
This vid reminds me of my aunts beauty shop growing up. The shiny pink capes and even that beautician looks like one of the women who worked there and used to taunt me about getting in her chair and getting trim. She would sit there and smoke and eye me down. The day I gave in she threw that cape over me and held my shoulders while she pumped me up and up. I could smell the smoke and shampoo on her fingers as she flicked through my long bangs. All the other women in the beauty shop chairs gazed on eager to see a young boy have his proud locks snipped away. She spun me away from the mirror and sheared me to nothing. To this day I love and hate trips to the chair.
I got betsy reenie and a few others no debra??? it got removed from my favorites list and said it dropped and I still can't get it please re add or whatever thank you for your time LOVE THESE CUTS!!! ADD SOME NEW ONES PLEASE... love long to shorts like these
I'd like to see some of these pixie cut chicks have their hair teased like this! I wonder if Rachel Weiland, who sports a pixie cut would consider doing it. anyway, I love the way her hair looks at the end. definitely love to see this style make a comeback!
I had a GF in 91 When I first met her she had long straight hair I finally talked her into almost this same style but her nape was shorter and I kept it that way. She loved it I loved it it was all good. Mrhair66 Im so thankful that you posted these I can comeback over and over for years. Cheers to you mate.
