​@@BoredGameShenanigans i did the reboxing today. Could not got everything sleeved inside. I let the Pirate deck cards unopen, so i could had everything fit in. The small cards could not put them all in the same place, and even if i tryed to put in the middle with the big one i could not fit them all. Ould be nice if Portal had put some images of how it is suposed to be organized... but at this point i dont care about that company anymore.

I didnt see many supporters on gamefound,BGG or the twitter space but maybe im looking in the wrong places. I dont think they need to comment as we have all the proof to show they do use it. Thanks for the comment!

Got it from cmon directly, I believe it cost $66.60 or something, it was CMON so Vat charge for me on top in the UK and the shipping might have been $20-30, you can pick up everything in stores except the single Iron Maiden Eddie box and pack 3 is cheaper I think.

Not clickbait, it is an accurate title of the content of the video and i cover that in the first 30 seconds and everyone is biased so why bring that up, why would i not rant about a terrible company and warn other consumers about them when they launch new campaigns while never fulfilling their old one ( they have confirmed since that no one is getting these artbooks now). Why make silly holier than thou comments on this one video because it went viral when most my other content is not negative at all as i talk about companies that are actually good and care about their fans/customers.

The dice set was delayed and should be coming in a few months, I think the samples werent good enough for CGS so they delayed that, last update on gamefound has more info.

The book in particular is a decent one that has artwork + missions for the adventure mode as a campaign experience contained in it, i almost backed Mythic battles ragnarok too and glad i didnt after this conan experience and how late that campaign has been too. Its the communication that is the worst part really they just go months without giving us updates.

@@BoredGameShenanigans to be honest I mostly just forget about a kickstarter after I back it till they ask me to pay for the shipping. This is actually came back to bite me in the ass two times Sans Detors relaunch of the Confrontation game which I should have just red more comments and n first, and now Mythic Anastrey(I actually thought it was Monolith doing that game as I forgot they broke up after Mythic Battles Pantheon.

​​@@swordfist5350it justifies the video as per your other comment, "why make a 35 minute video", because it got an eye on the situation, 3000 views on my channel thats small is good and likely had a monolith employee see it, other kickstarter backers commented in the same situation also on the new campaign, I am not taking any credit but everyone needs their voice heard. And this was a lie btw as they have confirmed there will be no reprint of the books privately to all those affected

To me it can just take one bad experience to put me off a company, not that they can't redeem themselves to me but 2 years since the game shipped for me it is still unresolved, if It was resolved when they initially said Id be more comforable backing another Monolith game.

Actually about 50-100 people still havent got all their stuff from the last conan kickstarter, i'd still call it out if I wasnt affected but Its a good enough warning everyone should know about

@@BoredGameShenanigans To be clear that does suck for those 100 people which represents about 1.7% of all backers. I wonder what the normal rate of complaint is on KS as there appears to always be some quantity of people who wind up out in the cold for a variety of reasons, some their fault, some the creator's fault, some the vagaries of fate. I have been involved with Monolith projects back to the first Conan which I stated from the start would be a minimum of one year late. As a creator they have their fair share of issues. They have never hit a delivery date that I can recall and attention to detail is lacking. Back to the original Conan they overpromised with things like an app while not understanding their commitments. Their communication has also historically been very poor and they had been deaf to much of the community. That has improved with Matt John having more direct input. Their delivery on the latest Batman, the original which epitomized their inability to learn from prior issues or listen to the community, still is pending for later this year. So I have stated their communication is crap, their delivery is a hot mess, their attention to detail is lacking, their planning is poor, and not mentioned but certainly true, they have historically been incapable of producing a comprehensible rule set in English although I would bet the French version is rough as well. They are also a French company, which sadly is not a good sign in the Kickstarter world... Mythic, Devil Pig Games, Holy Grail Games... see the trend... I put this all out there as points of concern but there are some high points here. 1. The product they deliver tends to be beautiful. Seriously, what I have gotten from them looks great and it has gotten better with additional campaigns. 2. They do not appear as grossly overexposed as publishers like Mythic and Holy Grail. Yes, Batman is outstanding but there has been no whispers of needing more money, shipping problems, etc. They do not have a line of games waiting to come which need funding from the latest KS to see daylight. They could still fail but from my limited perspective they are not grossly overextended as those others were. 3. After the original Conan their promises have been more realistic for physical deliverables. 4. After not having listened to constructive criticism for a LONGGGG time they seem to have finally gotten the message. The hot mess which was the cancelled Beyond the Monolith campaign taught them a hard lesson and may have developed some humility. Moving forward they have been making better decisions and been more receptive to feedback. They could fail, the earth could swallow my rewards, and everything could turn to crap. The delivery WILL BE LATE, the one constant with Monolith is they can't hit a schedule to save their lives. They are in rough times for KS so there is a risk of implosion. At the same time I love the Conan game but I am not suffering from FOMO. I will back for just Red Nails and see how it goes. I only do one or two KS a year now and am happier for it.

@Kennethfharkin Well said! And the webstore is also there to buy from if people dont want to risk going through kickstarter, I wont take the risk supporting on kickstarter again but i did say in the video I'd look for other options if I wanted anything more conan like 2nd hand market etc.

Hi Andreas good to get some comments from you as I do see you in the Gamefound comment sections clarifiying stuff about the game, thanks for taking the time to check out the video. For the official storage solution for the whole game i am correct that for the official storage you would require the core box, awakenings, apocalypse, spoils of war, hellscar and undead dragon boxes to store all the small monsters? (+ the four horsemen when including boss minis), and then also hero pack 1 and the companions boxes would also be required for the other minis? I will probably make a video of how i store the game in the future when ive tested how easy it is for me to setup/play

Deluxe is defnitely the wrong word. But we enjoy using the big ones, because sleeving and laying out skill cards is too much of a hassle for us. I haven't bought the hero trayz though.

@@Brotzkopf What i like about the approach with the cards is that you only have visible what you have actually unlocked and are not confronted with a lot of skills on your board that are not available to you. So it kinda grows with your hero over the course of the game. But both variants have their individual pros and cons.

​@@andreasgabelI prefer the big boards, just to easily see the progression, like a skill tree. I use a strip of neoprene (old mouse pad) to cover the skills Im not using.

The variety with the extra heroes and monsters from the stretch goals are pretty good so would be worth it if the game is getting played, shame they don't have a good shipping hub in your region

Yeah it was around £245 for the gameplay all in on the lockdown campaign with no Vat if i remember correctly, its more expensive to get all that now before you even add the tax as i have it at £254 plus tax its going to be £300+

I did think the last goal would be an animal of some type like they have done before. This new game seems like a nightmare with how many boxes there will be with the veteran pledge i'd have to condense it down to a few boxes.

If i didnt already have all the old stuff i would probably get retaliation first because it changes more things but still feels like nemesis, or if you want the game to stay the same get the original expansions. Lockdown is good but it does feel like a reskin on the original game with a few changes to the rules but the new intruders are just the same with new minis really. Expansions are a better choice over lockdown as you can get the extra characters or aliens for the original game, then lockdown and the lockdown stretch goals could be what to get later after the original expansions like aftermath, voidseeders and carnomorphs

@@BoredGameShenanigans thanks for the response! I had decided to get Retaliation, but a friend of mine is pledging all in, so i decided to check the expansions. Lockdown as a reskin might be what I'm looking for, tbh. It changes the "setting", adds new characters and new mechanics. If i pick it up on gamefound I even get the stretch goals with the Cythrids. Either way, I'm getting Aftermath and the Untold Stories, but I'm still having a hard time on deciding the rest lol

Yeah when there is so much for a game it is hard to pick and choose what you want haha, id lean on the items which were stretch goals as they are usually limited at retail, its also possible they will add some more bundles in the pledge manager, but there is plenty of time to decide the last tainted grail campaign closed 1 year after the campaign was live and the PM was open for 8 months.

I own original nemesis (love that game), with 2 expansions. But we play that expansion rarely. My friend have lockdown and after few plays i decide not to buy lockdown. It is too simmilar, but with lot of overcomplicated mechnaism (for my opinion). But i back for veteran pledge of retaliatuon because it seems like game with new aproach, now it is not about hopelles survival, but about "kill them all!!!". So "diferent game" i hope. I will see.

I'd keep it the same as still very little content for Tanares Adventures compared to the other expansions, i'd still put legendary box and Penumbral Pack above it.

Well he posted about it delibrately to rant about it and the posts still exist, i'd say it should have been deleted as keeping it out there is continuing to make sure the lie is out there ir at least do a better job in correcting himself. I'd say it was initially a mistake but he kind of doubled down afterwards.

Don't get me wrong I like Alex and watched his review, and I think he can review while disclosing like he says in many videos, but not everyone will actually watch the video and those quotes don't tell you Alex is working for Gamefound, but also maybe I rambled on it a bit much in this video lol
