My personal favorite, Prince of Darkness, did exactly as he'd hoped, it left me with a great sense of unease and still does to this day. It's a fascinating and seamless blend of religious ideas and scientific ideas...not an easy thing to do. I plan on another watch of the film tonight, as a matter of fact. It's one of my favorite Halloween movies and I watch it many times every year. Thank you, Mr. Carpenter. You're a genius!

Remember watching this at the cinema over 40 years ago as a double feature with Excalibur, great film.

This is my second favourte Carpenter movie, second only by a fraction to "The Thing". To this day it gives me existential chills like no other film I have seen.

I Saw Top Gun when It was released in thearters 1996 in Wellington NZ my home town I had been learning to fly a 2 seater Cessner 152 at that time and I had done around 25 Hours in my log book and a Student Pilots licence when I saw Top Gun at the Theartre, as a young fella of only 16 years old I knew what I wanted to be and that was a fighter pilot Top Gun made it look so cool! Love the Movie seen it thousands of Times, still love it to this day a true Classic of our Time. I never became a Fighter Pilot
