I've been looking all over the place for these, the internet, Menards, and Home Depot. If only I had a jig saw! Do you know where I can find these in different sizes pre-made? I have a bathroom vanity with drawers that came with these dividers and some are missing.

You added music to a video which already has workshop machine noise + voice? You must be joking. This is awful. What a racket. I cannot hear a thing and my ears are hurting. Very poor choice. DO NOT ADD MUSIC TO ANY DIY, DEMO, TOUR, COOKING, OR ANIMAL VIDEO. Voice is not necessary either, just do it, in silence and natural sounds only.

What if you used 1/8” thick aluminum with 1/8” wide table saw blade, metal version for toolboxes….

Awesome stuff.... Looking for ideas to display artifacts, arrowheads etc. I think this technique would be perfect. Can you clarify the name of the original type of board that you bought?

What if you cut a groove on the sides front and back so when your installing the dividers which would need to be a little longer they would drop down in the grooves and won’t fall over and wouldn’t need to use hot glue I’m just wondering that work station is very nice and I like that remote switch on your belt loop for the saw

Please don't laugh. I am eighty plus and new to laser cutting. I have created a divider box template. When I slip one notch over the other it doesn't push down to bottom. Are your notches exactly the same width? Oh, I am afraid to use table saw, okay with chop saw and band saw.

Don't want to be that guy, but a word of caution about using a fence and a miter slide at the same time can cause kick back. If you add a short piece of material at the beginning of the fence you can align your pieces, but when you advance the miter slide you will have a gap between the fence and your work piece. It's safer that way. Just don't want you to get hurt. Kick backs are uncomfortable, ask me how I know. Great organizer trick. Thanks for sharing.

I've watched a lot of videos with drawer organization hoping to pick up some ideas for my drills and taps. I have quite a few. Everything I've seen was highly inefficient. Looked nice and would likely work for someone who has an index and maybe a few stray drills, but not for anything serious. Your setup, however, is a different story. I like it a lot. Versatile, a good amount of space. Just one problem; I'm not a woodworker. Back to square-1.

I only have hand woodworking tools but i'll give it a go! We have a circular saw but it's a bit too intimidating for me to use since it'd be my first time using one, so I'd play it safe hahaha.

There should be no reason you couldn't use plywood. Just make sure you set your index jig pin to the right size. Should not be a problem at all!

great idea for the indexing! id suggest setting the fence up with a stop block that stops shy of the blade- you probably aren’t gonna cause a kickback with that cut, but best practices and all that. definitely stealing the indexing idea though! finally getting comfortable with my table saw and it’s been a massive gain for me

Great build! The simplicity is brilliant! This adjustable design is just like the Akro-Mils "Akro-Grid Dividable Plastic Storage Boxes". I can tell you I priced out enough boxes to fill two large 24" deep Husky toolboxes and it was over $600 in containers! I think I'll save $570 and spend a day doing what you did!
