Nice one Ben. You’ve avoided me a Kettle Katastrophe and saved me wallet. Absolute shame… I wanted to go all-out and refit my kitchen with Dualit around. I’ve really ‘bought in’ to the brand .. classic British, stylish, well-built, sustainable and repairable. Might give this kettle and miss . I have the Espressivo Pro Coffee Machine arriving on Monday - so we’ll see how that goes. How about a do a review on RUclips!

I just stumbled across this as I am looking in to getting a m4/3 camera to compliment my FF kit, and was reminiscing about my start on 4/3 - when they went micro and left the old 4/3 system, I moved on to full frame. @2:40 I worked as a sport photographer with that camera. I shot gymnastics (collegiate level) with it and it kept up just fine. I shot birds in flight with it, too. My hit rate has been better with more modern cameras, but the E-3 got the job done. Though I will admit the very first time I shot with the Nikon D3s and 70-200 f/2.8 VRII it was a bit of a revelation in place of the E-3 with the 36-100 f/2. I actually thought that the lens hadn't worked, because it focused so fast and just stuck on the thing it was focusing on that I thought it hadn't done anything. It was quiet, it was so fast I had missed the focus happening, and it never hunted, it just stayed planted on the thing it was focused on. So while the E-3 can do action just fine, It doesn't do it like a modern camera does.

I know this is an old video but thanks. That tones are f dope. Do you still think it's worth as for 2024? I found it second hand for 265€. My original idea was to take a Warwick gnome i pro v2 (300w) with it's cab (gnome cab 10/8). The only head TC still sells with TonePrint is the BH250, that could be an opt too! But seeing this goes around +450€, maybe the combo is better opt.

No, they are expensive and have very bad fault designs. They do not even last 6 months!

I have a wonderwall infinate art 300 with just a switch on and off, red light and green light when connected to remote. No idea how you pair it to the app. Cant see any other buttons on the back of the. . I have a different brand IR and it was picked up right away without doing anything, weird

A bit wordy, but I agree with the conclusion. The LEDs failed quickly on ours so we can only tell it's on by the noise (which is not as quiet as they make out). When our Classic Kettle dies I shall buy a cheap Chinese one for a fraction of the repair cost (this is the only non-Chinese brand on the market). Such as waste and such a pity. Also not impressed by their toasters. We had a 2-slot one with the dial like yours but it went wrong often and was inconsistent. So we bought the 4 slot NewGen toaster which seems to have a mind of its own. The second slice will usually set the smoke alarm off, so you have to turn the dial down between slices - which is not as advertised. Home-made bread doesn't toast fully even on the max setting. Goodness knows what settings 1-5 are ever used for - taking the chill off, maybe? And now my wife has broken it by poking a vacuum cleaner nozzle inside, so I guess we'll see how user-maintainable it is.

Is the zoom b9.1ut mostly a fuzz effect ? Most youtube videos thar I've watched about this unit...it's mostly fuzz. IMHO Yuk !

Hi Ben - I may sound like a disgruntled customer of ‘Klarstein’ here ( I AM ) Can i give you a warning about this very product should it be mounted to a ceiling ?? PLEASE DON’T - DON’T USE THESE PANELS. I had one set on fire at the connection box and seriously damaged my ceiling. Klarstein gave a full refund but nothing more. I have had to call upon my house insurance to rectify the damage to my ceiling. Klarstein are now completely ignoring my emails and even my calls. All I got told was that it’s ‘with the legal department’ I even wrote to the CEO ( no response ) Photos can be provided if necessary…. So….. for safety sake and if you value your property… PLEASE DON’T USE THIS OR ANY OTHER WONDERWALL KLARSTEIN PRODUCT. THEY COULD PROVE FATAL.

I bought them a year ago as a backup to my Bang & Olufsen. I have too say that I am really impressed! My Bang headphones cost me about $400 and the Veenax L11 $15. The sound quality of the Bang is of course better. But no way over $370 better. The battery life of the L11 is great, the pairing is great, you get a strong flashlight and a power bank all in one! The only thing I find a little annoying is how sensitive the touchcontroll is. You can't readjust them in your ear without pausing whatever your listening too. But that isn't really a problem. So if I'm looking for a wireless earbud I would decently buy these. There is no way AirPods or any other top brand is worth that much more. So go for it! Buy them and test them out yourself. Always great to have a backup and its a really small investment. Also, great video!

I have one, nothing I can do raises the temperature above 11 degrees, aftercare non existent. finally got my money back. the darn thing had to go down the tip at my expense. the replacement will not go above 21, countless emails got no useful response.

Thanks, nice honedt review. Qq, do you have to use the WiFi and app control to make it heat or could you just turn it on and off at the mains? Thinking of using a separate third party thermostat to control it but that would just turn it on and off.

I have the same problem, they will not sell you the parts but have offered to fix, with a cost of aporox £57 + parts . Not worth the cost of repair....shame....

How do you enable the wah? i find it hard to enable it should i step on it really hard?

Had ours for a few years now with no problems with tripping but it has started dribbling water from one of the level window seals and leaves a small puddle on the work surface. I suspect that Dualit won't send me out a seal (Although I will try them) otherwise I could try a bodge repair myself with some sealant.

What's the furthest you talk to someone on 4 watts and 8 to 10 watts?

You actually adjust the time that the backlight stays on in the menu. That applies for all three radios. Surprised you did not know that!

Just long press the green button to change from VFO to memory mode. While in memory mode long press the red button to show frequency.

It works and does the job, but not sure it's worth more than the competition.

Agreed with your thoughts about Dualit misleading advertising. They have so far refused to send out a heater element to me. They use a custom made press to remove and replace the element at a cost of £54 inc postage which is a big chunk of original purchase price. I want to support British manufacturing but was very disappointed by their attitude so far. I suggested their design team make it repairable by the consumer next time. If you want a well made kettle buy an old Russel hobbs k2.

Hi Ben, my Dualit kettle arrived today. Same as the one you reviewed! 08/23. Will be interesting to see how it holds out. I just tested it against our old kettle ,boiling 1 litre side by side from cold tap. The Dualit was much quieter and boiled in 2min 43 seconds, the other kettle still works and will use in our boat. It took an extra 54 seconds and being much louder it felt longer than that. However time will tell! Have the toaster also, liked very much your video and immediately subscribed. Totally share your opinion on Brexit, complete lunacy, unfortunately I fear our children will pay the price.

Still use mine! Works just fine. It was a workhorse for me shooting ice hockey and rugby. I had the 50-200 and 12-60. The 12-60 usually lived on the E-510. Never let me down. I would get around the slower autofocus, I'd just keep brushing the the shutter release. Never had an issue shooting hockey.
