Giants Bite
Its said that a great Welsh giant once took a bite out of the side of the mountain here in Abercynon, leaving a great gap in the mountain top. I don't know about any giants, but it sure makes a beautiful place to go flying...

Quick Tut - Resizing an Image in Photoshop
Просмотров 1237 лет назад
In this quick tutorial I show you how to resize an image in Photoshop to specific requirements.
How do you navigate between photos left to right with a key? I've looked for customizable buttons, help on the internet, tutorials to see if anyone switches between images but they all edit only one. I simply want to quickly move between photos in the strip in edit view.
7:42 That's a great point. Often, I hone in on the perfect post-edit, go grab a coffee and when I come back to it, my image looks way over-processed and often unnatural. The 2 keys to good post processing are: 1. everything in moderation and 2. ...always take a break and come back to it.
Nice tutorial usually I use Lightroom, is there a way to make custom presets to make the editing process a lot faster
Can I do this but like draw a box around something I want to reduce the exposure on? I have some windows that are washed out and would like to see through them thanks for the great video
hello dale
Thanks, good instructions.
why is this video so underrated ?
You're a hero
exactly what i was telling my self watching this tutorial !!!!! ;D
Thank you, very helpful!
Thanks for this. Have a question - is the preview that Raw Therapee shows of the image, a full resolution preview or is it dumbing the image down? If it’s the latter, is there a way around this.
I was looking for Before and After. Now I found it on your video(snapshot)😃 ThankYou🙏
Noice
Very helpful video, saving it to watch again later. So happy you demonstrated working with the Tone Curves, I didn't understand it before as I was used to Levels in Photoshop Elements. That graduated filter trick is neat! I see you exposed that shot for the sky to retain highlights and bring up shadow detail in post, it worked wonderfully!
so helpful, thank you
This is by far the most amazing beginner tutorial I've seen for RT. I moved to RT from lightroom and initially I felt overwhelmed my RT. Your video has given me what I need to approach my editing on RT with confidence.
thank you so much my friend you helped me a lot
Every time I edit the exposure/color of a photo in RawTherapee and then close it, the next image in my file browser automatically has the same edits applied. How do I turn that off??? I can't find an answer anywhere!
Amazing Video Straight to the point. Cheers 🍻 👏
Absolutely incredible my friend, thank you
Dude. You rock. Thanks for the straight forward, easy to understand instruction.
thank you, great video. amaizing example btw
Thank you!
For what looks like 142 previous, positive comments...I VERY MUCH AGREE tyvm VERY well done!!👏🍻
Awesome video new sub here
Thankyou so much, was struggling with the app but you gave explained brilliantly
My first introduction in raw processing (of course using Linux). Great !
Cheers, excellent basic tutorial!
It seems to me that RawTherapee is not really a beginners’ software (although videos such as this one do help of course) - I suspect lots of conceptual knowledge is presumed. Would you say that’s true. If yes, could you recommend something a tad more approachable. Ideally free / open source but if not then, affordable, perhaps?
Great video, exactly what i was looking for, thank you so much ! just saved me a ton of time
Thanks for your time. I've started learning the basics of post-production. Carry on.
Jesus... Presented so well and to the point.. Thank you Dale
Wow and Thank You. Your tutorial is my best use of internet time in a long time. Many other "tutorials" left me thinking.... 'I'll never get those minutes back.' You are awesome.
i downloaded this software for the first time ever and was having a horrible time trying to understand what was going on but this video helped me soooo much!!! i feel like i can finally navigate it and I am soo thankful for you
I will say one word. Awesome Buddy. Your flow is much good.
Awesome!
Stunning
thankq so much
Thanks Dale! Brilliant job of explaining it all in simple terms.
Such a pleasant sounding man :)
Loved it, easy and straight to the point.
Thank you so much. I now know enough to get started👍
I have no idea how you save a processed file, and my interface looks nothing like yours. There is nothing to right-click and add to queue in my 5.8 version. I hate RawTherapee. Impossible to use.
5 years later and this tutorial still works wonders!!!
love it... thanks dale
nice tutorial👌👍
Downloaded the software and not a clue how to use it - until I found your video - Thanks Dale - Great job
Great instructional video! I've downloaded RT and am happy that it works for both my Fuji and Sony raw files. I love the way that the graduated filter works. The deeper I delve into RT I'm thinking that it's all I need.
How to do photos AEB?
Just started out with photography and your video is actually really helpful! Love that you're able to go through the basics in less than 10 minutes. Thanks!
