This song affects me a lot right now and I love to hear their different performances of it. I'm glad that I'm able to listen to this now. Come Undone was a favorite of mine when it came out back in the day. Now that I have recently experienced a huge loss in my life, this is my Duran Duran favorite.

Big fan of this song, and it's a respectable rendition, but let's get real about what we're hearing here. Simon does a strong head voice at 3:09, but then does a falsetto instead at the end refrain probably because he didn't have confidence in hitting those notes, so it sounds weak, and it's lacking effects as the ACL engineer is apparently not attuned to Rock vocal effects. The female singers should have doubled him at the end to help. The guitar needs compression and way more effects & a better tone. The keys are too low in the mix from 3:30 onward. I didn't like the improvised solo initially, but on 2nd listen, it wasn't bad, just lacked processing as did the rest of his playing. Also a horrible ending. It's pretty much what you'd expect when a slick British 80s act performs in Texas on what is typically a rootsy show.
