Great video. I saw Maximum the Hormone live in concert at Viva La Rock, Saitama in 2022. Man, that was a fun time. They were so into sharing their music with the fans and gave off so much unbelievable energy while on stage. There was much headbanging to be had that day!

Discovered them properly a year or so ago and they have instantly became my regular listen, might even my call them my favorite band overall! I am quite thankful for piracy and dedicated fans who make their discography available worldwide since, without that, many hits would never reach outside Japan, streaming services are quite sparse! Also, just to mention, reportedly, their song F, that is, Toriyama seeing that song performed live is that gave him the idea to bring Frieza back and make that whole movie

This could have been done by someone actually passionate about Japanese music and culture and able to pronounce it. The creator's anime taste speaks volumes. But it's not all his fault. And you're right on several points : - Not required to understand japanese to love their songs, the lyrics fit surprisingly and naturally to the ear and to the riffs. - Ryo riffs are not always too hard to play on guitar and are gratifying. I guess it's often Drop C. - Ue-Chan bass technics are not very common on metal and so is big part of their sound identity. Like your videos, just keep on! 😉🎸

I totally agree with you : MTH is the most creative, mind blowing and funny metal band of all times, imposing themselves no limits in their music. I'm a 51 years old rock/metal fan and (a poor) guitarist, and no other band has given me so much pleasure to listen and to see this last 40 years! Multi-talented, funny and loveable they are. Wizards, geniuses! ❤️ Hope to see them live in France one day...

I would love to see ENDON on this iceberg as well, such an emotional Noisemetal/Noisegrind band from Japan. Their album "Through The Mirror" makes you want to be violent and melancholic at the same time. The also played some US tours and the singer always puts in 100% emotion, its insane. Sadly their member Etsuo Nagura died in 2020, on stage he played his noise synth setup like a guitar. While the band is starting to become active again, I hope they are doing well mentally and will have more success in the future.
